I've found a "work-around" for this...I believe. Look at your pictures you posted. McClouth's helmet is the newer Cool-Flo version. The other picture is an older helmet (non-Cool-Flo).

If you change McClouth's helmet to the older version, I bet it's fine. The Mets helmets on the road are wrong in this game (black for the grays, black/blue fade with the blacks..should be the other way around), but if you change their helmets (they all use the Cool-Flo) to the older versions, it gives you a black/blue combo like their hats...still wrong (they stopped using that in 2005) but it still changes them.

I know you may not wanna hear this but you might just need to delete everything on your hardrive that has to do with The Show 10. I had the same thing happen to me last year. I took it to GameStop thinking it was the disk. Turns out I had corrupted data (don't ask how).

After he deleted all the data from the Show 09, it worked and loaded just fine.

I figured that might be the case. It seemed to happen when their was the problem with the sport connect. It was weird because I wasn't even using my online profile. Anyways, the game froze, and since then I had had problems. Today, it worked fine though. So maybe I will wait a few more times. If it happens again though, I think I will go that route. Do you think if I had to delete everything, my stadium pack would stay in tact?

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

I was a year and a half into my rtts and i was going to play game and everytime after i get done with batting practice it freezes. The music is still playing but the game is frozen.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

I turned off the ps3 three times and both the same result, willing to start a new one but don't want to have the same thing happen again.

Good question. But I think the stadium pack is something thats recognized from your system online. Because I tried to play 'em offline and it said I needed to log on. And the satdiums showed locked.

I hit the ball up the middle and it landed in center field...taught t was a base hit right? wrong..the ball magically went from centerfield grass back to pitchers mound back and then hits backstop, ump calls it a foul ball...i can not recreate it

Happened once soo far...thankgod this is my test franchise, that would of beeen hard to swallow if it wasnt

Happened three times- When i bunt or sacrifice, the first baseman does not touch bag and still player is called out when 1B is a mile away from first

That run was scoring regardless, went too far from catcher.

Granted glitch shouldnt have happened, but run wouldve scared IMO.

Wild pickoff throws from the pitcher that wind up in the crowd/dugout awards the runner on first two bases. Should be only one base. Happens every time.

Runner on first, runner on third, 1 out. Batter hits a grounder to second, who bobbles, abandons hope of the GIDP, throws to first, runner scores.

Run erroneously credited as unearned. (Can't assume the DP.)

Same thing happens with bases loaded.

To me there seemed that something was broken in the franchise that I couldn't control, even if I was controlling all 30 teams and using the workarounds so I tested:

I was interested to see how simming 5 years in the future would affect team finances and have recorded the results in an excel file and attached them here.

What you will notice is that in the beginning of 2016 the average payroll has increased from $89,542,211 in 2010 to $159,407,401. That is a 78.02% increase in 5 years ... not very realistic.

Secondly you'll notice that there are 79 FA who rated B or higher and if you look at the funds available for each team they couldn't come close to signing all these players even if i forced it.

So the question what is causing this issue?

I noticed most of the FA's were SP and I decided to count how many SP were rated B or higher in 2016. I counted 285!!!!! In the most recent rosters the 2010 opening day rosters, there are a total of 94.

Because SP's demand the most money in FA it makes sense that teams are running out of money despite nearly doubling their payroll.

So their needs to be a fix in either the player progression/regression for pitchers, the drafts that create this many top pitching prospects, or the way salaries are scaled.

I wanted to see if a way to work around it was giving a pitcher a career ending injury (which seems really cheap by the way).

I gave Joba Chamberlain a 6 month arm injury and so I figured he'd regress ... and he actually improved!!!!!!!!!! I think if pitchers were injured more often when simming and if arm injuries caused regressions this problem could be partially fixed.

No, that is correct, you are awarded 2 bases when that happens. It most commonly occurs on groundballs. The runner is given 2nd because he hasn't reached 1st yet, so going to 2nd gives him 2 bases.

All players are shown as being right-handed, regardless of which hand they actually bat with.

Every game. The correct attributes are properly shown though, ie. if the batter is facing a lefty, contact/power vs L's are displayed.

Completed AA game. When simulating to next appearance of for longer it just sticks on a date against Binghampton. Autosave was after the aforementioned finished game and so any reload of the RTTS just faces the same problems.

I haven't found a workaround, if thats what you mean.
