you would need to create a profile for each team...but it can be done. You can have a profile for each of the 30 teams if you want, each with different settings.

I usually go agressive or just "play ball" early in counts especially when nobody is on base...just let my pitcher's ability take over..I start getting more careful when guys are on base and a dangerous hitter is up..then I start micro managing more in terms of location etc...whats cool is you can choose a location but it doesnt mean your pitcher will execute..sometimes they can still hang one..you have to know your pitchers..I love the manager mode..love managing my pitching staff and bullpen..I do have a question though...during the franchise..will your bullpen get worn out? Say you throw Papelbon back to back nights..is he toast on that next night?

They do get worn down depending on how much you throw them.It makes it fun to have to pay attention just like real managers have to.Yes i love managing my staff and pitching by far my favorite part of the game.

i applied these settings and for some reason alot of trades i make they usally get refused...even if it is a totall win for my opposition, they still reject it..i taught if i applied the setting i would get the offer and then be able to reject or accept it?

I have a hunch that this may be happeing due to the setting in global which stated something like Trade Delay Immediate or Delayed..i pressed Delayed on accent and now i cant change it :/ My chise in in June...

I figured I'd ask here: is there any way to change your favorite team in your profile without deleting and remaking it?

New patch didn't mention anything about the RTTS FB issue, I'd keep using the workaround for that one and hope for a third patch.

I'm still going to leave trades set to manual in the global settings, I don't see what it could hurt. Trade logic isn't going to be improved is it? I still would like the final say on if a trade goes through or not, I don't want stupid trades happening all across the league.

What this allows me to do though is go back and put everything else on auto. I'll probably put roster moves, lineups, free agents, and waivers back to auto and not worry so much about the little stuff I was worrying about before. I'll fix the lineups right before I play a series with a team and let the CPU control everything else with their organizations.

I don't see what it's going to hurt leaving the global trades set to manual though, I'd still like to supervise their work as I don't think they are going to use any kind of logic.

You may get ZERO trades now. The reason that trades were still offered between the cpu was because of the bug. With trades for all teams set to manual there should be no trades unless you offer one. A trade over ride feature would be nice in the future for people that enjoy that.

So since the latest patch did not address this ....
If I enter the bullpen via the pause(start button) menu or Dpad I do not have to pause and unpause?
I only have to do that if I hit select to go to bullpen?

                        Thanks!

Your right, I just tried it and received no trade offers at all with it on manual. There were a couple of unrealistic trades as well, I mean AJ Burnett was traded for 3 prospects in May. There are a lot of trades happening, most are unrealistic. I just saw a Berkman for Kershaw swap in a sim I just did.

So what's the answer here? Should we just save our work after every game and if we see a trade we don't like go back and fix it or should we leave it to manual and offer trades ourselves? Looks like if it's set to manual though there will be no trading going on and if it's set to auto unrealistic things happen.

Couldn't you just set all teams to auto if you want other teams to trade? Or are you (tbarnes) talking about having other teams offer trades, but you play "overlord" and choose to accept them.

If someone has a chance, could they sim some scenarios and post some of the workarounds and happenings? At work and no chance to play or test right now.
