Okay. So I am running a 30-team franchise, with in global on automatic except the contract re-signing option that's found right after the free agency option. I manually allow or deny trades through to pending transactions screen.

My question to you guys is, what is the best way to make sure there are realistic re-signings and free agency? I am okay with some free agents moving around in a realistic manner, but this talk of Pujols and Tulowitzki all not being resigned is frightening. What can be done to prevent this? Thank you!

So with all the patches released can I start a Rays franchise without worrying about freezes at Tropicana Field?

Yes I believe they have all been fixed. There is a thread right at the top that lists all the fix's

2 possible fixes for the bullpen glitch, not sure if they work.
1st, only enter the bullpen after the half of an inning, no one has thrown a pitch, with the quick menu (up on the d-pad).
2nd, have warm up on and bring them in right away as to avoid going back to the pause menu.

Not sure if either works, just some possible work arounds.

So for a 30 team control Franchise, I set everything to Manual for MY team - AUTO for the other 29 teams? I want to be able to make the league active, yet realistic. Someone please help me understand this.

Basically, yes. Anything you want to control yourself, either on your team or others, set to MANUAL. Anything you don't want to deal with, even on your own team, set to AUTO.

OK... I'm going to try the 30 team control for my franchise but I have a question... in the first post it says in the 'Post Patch' that we can now set all of the things to AUTO even TRADES... is that true or do I still have to have the trades set to MANUAL? Once again, just verifying so I don't screw anything up... thanks.

(So every thing set to AUTO? Trades, Free Agency, Contracts, Etc.?)

Hey, if soemome could please help me out i just started a franchise with the phillies and i had to take control of all 30 teams so there's not any crazy trade's... and now when i play with the phillies the score board that has all the other day's game's on it are blank, can anyone help me out with this its driveing me nuts!!!

Okay....even though you're a Phillies fan...I'll help.
You have to go to VIEW TODAYS GAMES...then simulate all the days games except yours(just highlight the game..hit sim...move to the next game...)
Then go back and choose to play yours.
You will get the boxscores and updates throughout the game for the other games in the league now.
The game is assuming you want to play all those other games with either yourself or other users.

Any workaround for the training assignments issue?

Anytime in franchise when assignments are set to manual and then changed to auto, no assignments will be assigned to players. Guess I could go through and switch each team to the current assignments I am doing

Hey guys, I've had my franchise going for about 70 games and I have still not seen any trades from any other teams. I have my profile set to manual and all the other teams are on auto.

I recently just put my profile trades to auto. I also take out the big players who would never get traded out of the trade rumor section. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
