I have tried everything:

Changed his rating to 0
Over loaded the Cubs with 1B
Dl'd as many players as possible for the Cubs.

I finally got him send to single A but even if I sim the rest of the season he never gets placed on waivers.

If you are talking about 2013 free agent problem then yes!!!!

1. 30 Team control is a must..
2. Global and User Training setting to manual..
3. If Franchise is already in progress make sure that all training check marks are removed for each team after switching settings to manual.
4. free agent glitch is fixed and players still progress and regress realistically..
As a matter of fact lets stop call it the "2013 free agent" glitch to the "training" glitch..LOL..

I'm in RTTS, and all of the sudden my game completely screws up. I have no clue what triggered it. My first RTTS, a pitcher one, finish the season and made the playoffs. 2 nights ago I played out the first 3 games of the playoffs, took 2-1 series lead and exited out. Pop it in yesterday and it starts out at Game 1. Okay, maybe I didn't save it last night. Play out Game 1, pitch scoreless 7th, quit out of game. Get 120 points, yay, go back to schedule. It's still Game 1. Play again, scoreless 7th again, quit out. 100 points. Have 220 training points to play with. Go back to schedule, still Game 1 but it still has the stats from Game 1 recorded in playoff numbers. Like it has the Game 1 starter pitching 5 days later and it has him at 1-0, x.xx ERA, etc. I don't know how to work around this, and need help. Any is appreciated.

(I know I posted in this in the bug thread, but now I realize I need a workaround more. If this breaks some rule, feel free to delete it)

End of June, with 30 team control and why does my game freeze whenever I try to toggle between my AAA and AA teams?

I am currently ten years into my franchise and I don't have 30 team control. Since I am unable to turn off budgets, I am confused on how to change the training to "manual" for the other 29 teams. To fix the "training or free agent glitch", am I obligated to start a new franchise with 30 team control? I've read the thread, but I am still a bit confused. Unfortunately yes...but you are way into the problem....you don't see it yet?
Perhaps it won't matter much at this point.

Thanks for the response. I actually did notice, but thought it was an unfortunate shortfall of the game until I came across this site. I prefer to start a new franchise and creat a little more competition rather than signing the top rated players year after year. Thanks again for the quick response.

I am in my first season on Franchise and in the off season. The game just freezes any time I go to Manage rosters or Manage contracts. Also, whenever I try to offer salary to my free agents I get a message saying my roster is full and cannot sign anymore players.

Has anyone seen this bug and is there a fix/workaround for it? I appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Circle Change
Splitter
Screwball

I was thinking 4sfb/2sfb or should i add another off speed or breaker?

I am having a really hard time with keeping all of my RttS players stats steady and not on the decline. Are there any general rules of thumb yall use for managing your training points to keep them getting better and better?
