I will re test this but if so, perhaps that explains why you did not see a problem with it...

I had added it as a fourth pitch, so perhaps I could test that later too
Well so far on the chageups I have tested its goes like this: chageup hinders 4SFB speed, palmball does as well. The circle-change was fine for me as I was hitting the scouting report speed. I am going to try the forkball next

Thanks again from everyone for your help and time spent on testing this... I will lend more of a hand if not at work

No problem man this is to benifit all of us

Ok here are my final changeup tests:

Palmball and changeup hinder your 4SFB velocity.

Forkball and Circle-change do not hinder you 4SFB velocity

I don't know why you keep saying this. It has been clearly presented to you, and you fail to acknowledge for some reason, that if you add a changeup after you build up the velocities of your other pitches that your 4SFB does NOT go back down to 89.

OK here is the granddaddy of them all.

Pitches that effect the 4SFB velocity: Curveball, Palmball, changeup

Pitches that DO NOT effect the 4SFB velocity: 12-6 curve, Slider, Splitter, Cutter, sinker, Running fastball, Screwball, Slurve, Sweeping curve, Forkball, circle-change

              Untested: Knuckle-curve, knuckleball

              Hope this is appreciated.....

I thought the OP said that all change-ups affected it? If not, then this is good news

That right there is good stuff.

I didn't have the staying power to keep testing pitches especially when I was pretty much being attacked by a certain screenname that I won't even type here....I mean....I'm not getting paid for this but I said "****...if my pitches were all jacked up I would want someone to help me out if I needed it" so I started this thread.

But good work man, this will be helpful when I start my RTTS after the opening day rosters come out.

Yep I made an assumption but I'll change it.

Does anyone know if the 2-seam fastball affects the 4-seamer? I didn't see it on the list.

So you are saying that if you don't add velocity to the changeup your fastball velocity will not increase?

No if you have a changeup, curveball or palmball as one of your 1st 3 pitches in RTTS your Fastball will hit a wall wehich generally seems to be around 88-89 MPH. I noticed this problem when I was using a palmball in one of my earlier RTTS and my fastball was about that speed, now Im getting 92-93 MPH
