How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

At Wrigley field, fly ball down the left field line hit on top of the wall in foul territory and bounced into the stands, clearly a foul ball. Batter credited with home run.


How often can the bug be reproduced?

I don't normally play at Wrigley but I'm guessing every time a ball is hit there.

any time Lou Gehrig gets a home run the top ticker says 0 instead of the hr. Others I notice will hit a hr and the above ticker says the players name and (5) if that's his 5th hr. Everytime Lou gerhig gets a home run it says 0.

Only happened once. Was playing my RTTS on the bluejays and was having a great day ha i was 4-4 and in my 5th at bat the pitcher threw a pitch.. only the ball never came.. it was like he threw an invisible ball.. i couldnt do anything after that at all and had to reset my ps3.. was at the trop

only once.. havent seen it after.. although im afraid another 4-4 day will go to waste

There's already a discussion on this taking place in it's own thread, but I just wanted to make sure it gets in here as a form of feedback on an error in the game.

The outfielder alignment (depth) appears to be inaccurate which creates a lack of realism in hit variety of extra base hits, especially to the gaps.

This is the second time this has happened to me. I only control one team in franchise mode. After a game with the Cubs, I was going to save and call it a night. All of a sudden, I notice I no longer have control of my team. My profile is no longer associated with my franchise and I cannot re-add it on the profile menu.

I didn't push anything to take away control of my team

How often can the bug be reproduced?

This happened randomly on one of my other franchise games as well. Don't know how it happens, so I cannot reproduce.

Francouer Threw out a guy running home from right field, and the announcer said something like "you should know better than to try to beat Ichiro"

How often can the bug be reproduced? dont know.

i have 2 that may be connected
the temp for night games is way off i played a spring training game in the unlocked stadiums and the temp was 4 degrees.

with the temps at night way off it causes every player to auto wear long sleeves even if they are set not to

almost everytime, pitcher gets MVP award

How often can the bug be reproduced?
I had five seasons so far and I guess 7 out of 10 times, pitcher gets nod to MVP.

Crowd Chant, Stadium Specific Sound Reproduction Feedback:
This may or may not be a typical Bug/Glitch due to it may not use the required bold format, but it's definitely worth mentioning or repeating for the masses. Sorry for posting this here as I'm not sure where really this topic fits in.

Soft Background volume for Specific Stadium Audio:
I've seen contributing threads talking about specific audio not being heard distinctly in MLB10 (ex. Yankee role call, San Diego Sea gulls, etc etc) when MLB09 had no problems in producing sound specific clarity.

Is this Patchable:
Can those specific sounds be audio tuned by SCEA via download, cause I and other's do own expensive 5.1 hometheater setup and there is no way to really enjoy all of SCEA/MBL10's hardworking sound engineers due to some of the background audio levels are outputted way to low and become drowned out by other great sounding crowd, announcer, stadium effects.

Game froze in our league game once when I was leading. Tried again and it froze again with a 0-0 tie in 3rd inning.
We decided to try later, but couldn't since it registered the 0-0 tie as a win for my opponent and the game was registered as played.

Also put down a loss on my gamer card. I dont plan on playing for the leaderboards, but dont need a loss on my record that shouldnt count for anything.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

So far every league game I tried but one. The one I got in and completed with a 5-4 win also showed up on my card as a 0-0 tie. However no one got a win, and the game never recorded in our league standings.

Its more of a glitch then a bug, and cant adjust it with sliders in basic online games(only if you get a custom league to account for it).
It is way too easy to throw out runners from right field at first base on base hits. Sure the occasional very hard hit one can happen on a slow runner. However people use it all the time since they know they have a good shot of throwing the runner out. Alot of basic line drives that drop b4 the RF result in an out at 1st.
Maybe just a tweak can fix this. If they are throwing home or cutoff a strong throw is fine, but the fielding balls hit into right like a routine grounder happens alot.

Every game so far. I think its cheap so I wont try, but almost any opponent I played that had the chance took it, several successful.

Manager calls to take a strike. First pitch is thrown tight inside what clearly is a ball but the blind ump calls it a strike. Next pitch, I fly out to center. Flash forward to the end of the game and I get an email from the manager saying I didn't take the first strike.

Considering all the things that need to happen, I guess it's pretty rare. Have only seen it once. Will edit if it happens again.
