How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

When executing a double switch, the new pitcher enters the game with the energy and confidence levels of the previous pitcher.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

I'm not entirely sure it happened every time I used the double switch. But it has happened more than once for a certainty.

AI ball location detection seems to be partially broken. To list three specific examples: A bloop that dropped in front of the right fielder was called an infield fly; runners on first advance halfway to second on pop-ups to short, resulting in easy double plays; a double-play ball hit to short resulted in the SS covering second and the 2B diving past the bag to try to field the ball. I've seen other instances that made me believe that something is wrong with ball location detection, but those are three very specific examples of what I've seen.

I believe this may also be why runners try to go first-to-third on balls hit to short center and get thrown out easily -- they (the AI) literally don't know where the ball is.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Alarmingly often, but not easily forced to reappear. The issue shows up randomly during the course of normal gameplay depending on where balls are being hit.

While fielding the fielder always pauses for about a second which causes his throw to be late. Sometimes not getting a single out on a double play opportunity.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Happens every single game. Not even sure its a so called "bug."

Franchise (as of now)

The Twins home opener against the Red Sox on Monday, April 12th. Pitching with Jon Lester, he ended up injuring his arm. I go to the bullpen to warm someone up, press circle to go back and it froze on the main pause menu. I was able to restart by pressing the PS button on the controller though.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Not sure, this was the first time it happened to me.

I lose my settings for a franchise or RTTS, that i continue (that is I load it from memory).

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Every time I load a franchise or RTTS, i suspect this is true for season as well

Save your settings via your profile instead of actually in RttS or Franchise.

With a human baserunner on first if the human controlled batter can't take any warmup swings the CPU pitcher will attempt a pickoff throw to first.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
I've just noticed it the last 3 or 4 games and it's happened everytime now that I have spotted it.

Empty seats during the postseason in some stadiums. I have simmed several seasons and typically its teams like the Twins or Brewers where you will see a lot of empty seats throughout the post season.

Happens every time for "small market" teams.

Every time.

They only play in HOME games. Also, if your song is 245-up in the playlist, it won't play (bug).

The is a problem when quitting MLB 10 The Show on the PS3. After I finish playing a game, I save it and the go back to the main menu. I hit the PS button on the controller and scroll down to hit quit game. I hit quit game, it say waiting or something like that. Next thing that happens is I hear 3 beeps, the screen goes blank, and the PS3 restarts. This is the only game I have a problem with. I have the original 60 GB PS3. Never had a problem. Sounds like a game problem, not hardware.

I did an in game save for a season game. When I loaded it, the game started and all of my settings went back to default! Very frustrating. I could immediately tell something was wrong when I loaded my game and a pitch meter came up (I use classic). I then went into the game options screen, and sure enough, everything was default. I even tried exiting, then going back to the main menu and loading my user settings there, then loading the in game save again. Same thing. If this has already been mentioned, I apologize, but could not get the search feature to work for me.

So far this is the first time I've tried an in game save.

Playing as Triple A Pawtucket against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. After letting up 1 run in the top of the 1st, I pressed X to skip the cutscene of my team jogging to their dugout. The next shot was behind home plate, panning the field, with the IronPigs doing their warmup throws, and thats when it froze. The IronPigs were still throwing, but any button I pressed wouldn't work. Quit the game by pressing the PS button on the controller again, went back in and played the game no problem.

Note - This is the second glitch I encountered in my Franchise on the Monday, April 12th date, the first being against the Twins, now this one.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

This was the first time it happened to me, and I've played numerous games. Hopefully this was a 1 time thing.

Sounds like a game problem, not hardware.

To quit the game without this freeze from happening, you need to hold down the PS button on the controller and use the "Quit Game" option from that screen. Using the XMB method will cause this glitch. It seems to happen all the time on this game, but I have also seen it happen MANY times on numerous other games I've played. (Rock Band, Rock Band 2, God Of War Collection, God Of War III, Guitar Hero, Metal Gear Solid 4, numerous other games as well).
