Game froze. Tim Lincecum got injured and it sent me to the Bullpen. I chose a reliever to warmup. I then went to a Mound Visit because I wasn't really sure if Lincecum was that injured and I figure this would buy my reliever some time to get warm. After visiting the mound, I left the screen without substituting my reliever in and the game just froze to a screen of the field.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
This is the first time after about 15 games or so that a pitcher of mine got injured, so I don't think very often.

It was a 3-2 Count and the CPU checked their swing. It was a ball. The At bat continued and the count was reported as 4-2. That's 4 balls. I made one more pitch and the player flied out.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Only saw once. Was Ben Sheets (me) pitching to Jason Bartlett (CPU)

RTTS as pitcher - sim game training

What happened?
Fielder's Choices are being recorded as singles (regardless of out count). Had two during one training session. The first was on a 3-6-1 DP attempt (batter beat throw to 1st), the other was an out made at 2nd with 2 outs.

How often?
Just the aforementioned two so far.

What happened?
I hit a ground ball that hit the runner and was not recorded as an out. It allowed the tying run to score and I eventually won. This was with 2 outs in the 9th! While I benefited, it felt cheap and it's obviously an incorrect ruling.

How often?
It's the only time I've seen a runner hit with a batted ball, so just once so far.

What happened?
Relievers appear to be "cold" when coming out of the pen after an injury, including into the 8-pitch warmup stage.

Either that, or they actually are cold. In that case, please change it so that relievers are automatically warm when coming out after an injury.

How often?
Both times I've been forced to bring in a reliever after a pitcher's injury.

What happened?
Matt Holliday hit a home run against me at Wrigley Field. Except the ball had gone foul and short before it even reached the foul pole. It was called home run no replay or anything. I checked the replay and followed the flight of the ball and it fell just short and just left of the foul pole by around 5 feet.

How often?
Once. I have a replay video of it.

Runner on third with two outs, CPU hits a ground ball to first. I field it cleanly and step on the bag to record the third out. Runner on third crossed home before the out was made and the run counted, though it should not have.

I attempted to re-create this by moving a runner to third with two outs then bunting for an easy ground out. The run did not count.

Due to the difficulty to re-create with only one controller, given how specific the situation must be, I have been unable to recreate it anymore.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Can't tell, but this is a re-report so it has happened to at least one other person.

I just finished a game and went to play the next one it wouldnt let me.

I'm not sure once is enough for me lol


It wont let me do anything I'm up to Aug 30th on my second season in RTTS. Wont go past the date no matter what I do. I've seen a couple other people report it with no help but I really need help I've put in almost 2 seasons!!!! Is there any fix coming?

Prince Fielder had just had a HR reviewed and overturned to a foul ball. My next pitch to him was outside. My pitcher then proceded to run to HP for no apparent reason-- i then hit X to get the game going again and the ball was thrown to home. I tried the different buttons, and each time I hit one, the ball would be thrown to the corresponding base and the player would run onto the infield grass in front of the mound. I then waited 2-3 minutes and the game resumed.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Not sure--- I'm wondering if this was a weird fluke since I've never seen it before or if the Umpire Review somehow triggered this?-- Not too big of a deal though because didnt mess anything up and the game did eventually resume

Milwaukee's Escobar hit a GB to ss and was out by a good step on a 6-3. He proceeded to "go nuclear" on Mac Harvey and was ejected. The next inning he was still in the field (Ricky Weeks PH behind him so Im wondering if that kept the brewers from replacing him?) and he remained in the game despite having been ejected.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Not sure-- seems to be an occasional problem when CPU players are ejected

Playing as the Jays at Rogers Centre against the Boston Red Sox.

The Red Sox were batting, and their player hit a pop up almost straight up into the air in front of home-plate. I positioned my catcher underneath the fly ball indicator with plenty of time to spare (the "spinning ball" was still quite large, suggesting the ball was still high in the air.

All of a sudden, the ball seemed to rocket into my catcher's glove, with the fly-ball indicator still showing as if the ball was still in flight. I checked the replay and followed the flight of the ball. As it was sailing upwards, it suddenly "snapped" back towards the ground as if it had hit the "ceiling" of the park. (Or in this case, an invisible wall).

How often can the bug be reproduced?

I have only seen this once in MLB '10, but I remember this issue as far back as the '07 versions of 'The Show'. I have only seen it while playing at Rogers Centre.

The RTTS player was on first base and was given the order to steal second base. After the player extended his lead off of first to get a better jump with the count at 0-0, the pitcher tried a pickoff throw which went too high, past the first baseman. The RTTS player reached second base safely on the play. The batter subsequently walked, with the RTTS player making no attempt to steal third base, at which point a "NOT ATTEMPTED -10" message appeared. After the game, those training points were deducted for not attempting to steal second and the player was given a reprimand by the manager.

Given that the task was to steal second base, in my opinion the goal should have been cancelled when the runner took second on the throwing error, especially since there had been no pitch to the batter to attempt a steal on.


How often can the bug be reproduced?
I have not been able to re-create the circumstances surrounding the bug. Only this once have I seen the pitcher overthrow on a pickoff attempt.

Errors are being assigned wrong.
Situation #1) Ground ball hit too RTTS SS, goes through his legs and batter reaches 1st. Obvious error. Same play, as the ball reaches the Left Fielder, he bobbles it. Runner does NOT advance to 2nd but stays at 1st. Error is credited to LF but not SS even though the SS's error is what allowed the batter to reach base. The LF bobble did not allow the runner to advance a base so should not be credited with an E.

Situation #2) Ground ball to RTTS SS. Fielded and thrown to 2Bto turn a double play. Runner is out. 2B throws over the 1B's head allowing the batter to be safe and advance to 2nd base. Error is credited to the SS not to the 2B

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Haven't encountered either situation again to test reproduction.

Urgh so frustrating! I just got called up to the Show in RTTS. First game at U.S. Cellular Field I hit a 3-run homer and then proceeded to record it. I DID hit select in the record screen. However, after that I was able to do a fielding play. Next time at the plate, though, the pitcher winds up and holds on to the ball. All of a sudden nothing will come up on the screen. ****ing lame cuz it was my first ever major league home run. Not happy!


EDIT: OK, I'm not as unhappy now. First game replayed I went 0-4, but next game I got my first ML hit (a single) and then hit a walk-off homer (first of my career...again). Woot!

Easy ground ball hit to Derek Jeter. He shuffled his feet a few times and fired the ball over Teixeira's head. It was scored as a single. It was in no way, shape or form even remotely close to a hit.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Not sure, happened in the first game of my season.
