What game mode did the bug happen in? (Front End, RTTS, Franchise, Gameplay, Online, etc....)

    Franchise

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

This has happened to me the last two times I have saved. I am using knight's roster and it didn't happen to me in the franchise I was using before the knight's roster was released. It is Mid-May in my franchise and it happened twice in a row. I play every 3rd to 5th game and sim the others.

What happens is: I play the game, say Aroldis Chapman is the starter, and everything during the game goes as normal. After leaving the game my progress is auto-saved and everything appears to be normal. However, when I turn the game back on it will show the game I last played, as not yet played. Not only does it show it as not played, but I can play it again or sim it without any problems. Now, this is where it starts getting weird. It will show the scheduled starting pitcher for this game to be whoever should have started the game after Aroldis Chapman, in this case Johnny Cueto. Getting even stranger Aroldis Chapman's energy will be depleted as if he has just pitched a game. It will also move every other pitcher up one spot in the rotation.

Example: Game 1 is the game I played with pitcher Aroldis Chapman.

A normal rotation would be Game 1 starter: Aroldis Chapman, Game 2 starter: Johnny Cueto, Game 3 starter: Pitcher C, Game 4 starter: Pitcher D, Game 5 starter: Pitcher E, and Game 6 starter: Aroldis Chapman. However, it shows the Game 1 starter to be Johnny Cueto and the Game 5 starter to be Aroldis Chapman.

Statistics are also interesting. On the player card for Aroldis Chapman under the year by year stat page it will show stats as if the game were never played. When you check the season stats, however, it will show them as if the game were played.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Every time after initial glitch within the same franchise

Every time the brewers hit a HR in Miller Park bernie brewer slide down and then, after a second completely disappears.

Sometimes when a pitcher return to the dugout he puts his hat but you can still see the hair through it as it was only a visor

I've seen the latter occur in MLB 09 in RTTS as a pitcher when you enter the game as a reliever sometimes.

I am sure often, playing in the 8th inning of a scoreless game when the game froze and was disconnected from my opponent, I received a loss.

BTW, this is after the server repairs were completed.

              offline gameplay

I double switched a relief pitcher (Jenrry Mejia) and Catcher (Henry Blanco) while allowing a PH to replace my 1B (Fernando Tatis replaced Mike Jacobs). The frequent delayed double switch glitch occurred where my Catcher was on the mound and the pitcher was still in the pen. I used the quick link (up on d-pad) to access my bullpen to put Mejia in, and the animation for the double switch (manager walking to home plate) occurred while my bullpen was being accessed. For the remainder of the time I bothered to play the game then on, the bullpen graphics (reliever list, lineup list at bottom of the screen) remained up, though I could still play the game. It also disabled any ability to use the quick link menu, select button, or to pause the game. The bullpen overlay even remained active through inning ending cutscenes and when using the right stick to pull out and look at the runner on second base.

I was playing a game but I decided to quit and get out of it and it simulated til the end. I got out so it didn't save and then I loaded my franchise again and the stats from the game that I quit shows up but my record is still 1-1

Atleast two times agame every game someone will hit a grounder to my infield and the ball will go thru his glove, arm, foot, ankle, or leg into the outfield allowing a single and sometimes a double. Sucks when i have two outs and a guy on third and they hit a grounder to my third, second, shortstop, or first baseman and the ball goes thru them and the run scores. Very unrealistic, the ball should atleast be knocked down and stay in the infielders grasp.

This only occurs for me in situations with a runner on first. If a walk is issued when the runner on first is attempting to steal, an error is issued to by second baseman, despite there not being any sort of play what so ever.

It happens to me about once every 2 games, but thats more due to not being up against too many base stealing players. The glitch occurs every time the situation i described happens.

User has runners on 1st & 3rd, runner at 1st breaks for second, catcher makes the throw, runner on 3rd breaks home, ss/2b throws home, both runners are safe. Its an easy run. The throw home will beat the runner but the catcher will not make the tag.

The ol' two base award for a ball thrown out of play excludes the pitcher, especially on pickoffs. The pitcher attempted to pick me off at first and overthrew it out of play. I was awarded third base as a result. This is, by MLB definition, incorrect. I should only be at second base.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

                        Every time.
Actually, that is by MLB Definition, correct. A baserunner is awarded two bases on a ball that is thrown out of play per rule 7.05g, and further clarified per rule 7.05h. If the pitcher still has his foot on the rubber when he throws over to a base and the ball goes out of play, the runner(s) are awarded only 1 base from where they were when the ball left the pitcher's hand. If the pitcher's foot is not in contact with the rubber when he releases the ball, the runner(s) are awarded two bases from where they were when the ball was released.

On batted balls that are thrown into the stands, the runner(s) are still awarded two bases. The batter winds up at second base because when the ball was first pitched, he had not reached first base yet. But if there was a runner on second base, he would be awarded homeplate since he would get two bases for the ball being thrown in the stands.

This is NOT a bug/glitch. It is the absolute, 100% correct ruling here as stated by the MLB Rulebook. SCEA has gotten this right and it's just something that many of us don't know. (I didn't know this until I actually looked it up in the rulebook. I had no idea that the pitcher's location, on or off of the rubber, determined if it was one or two bases).

Thanks, I didn't realize there was an exception to the rule when on the rubber. I've umpired softball for most of my life, so this situation for a pitcher technically never arises.

Guess it's not a bug, kudos for clearing it up.

Lead-off hitter hits a deep flyball to the warning track. Randy Winn is out there, under it, and lets the ball bounce directly behind him, smack onto the warning track. Ball then kicks off the wall, and Winn fields it and throws to cut-off man, and Sizemore has himself a stand up triple.

                              uh...hello?

Problem: Outfielder not playing an obviously catchable ball at the wall.

What game mode did the bug happen in? (Front End, RTTS, Franchise, Gameplay, Online, etc....)

                                Franchise

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

Lead-off hitter hits a deep flyball to the warning track. Randy Winn is out there, under it, and lets the ball bounce directly behind him, smack onto the warning track. Ball then kicks off the wall, and Winn fields it and throws to cut-off man, and Sizemore has himself a stand up triple.

                                uh...hello?

How often can the bug be reproduced?

                                First time seen.
I have seen this with my LF in RttS mode, I can stand at the wall at the ball will hit just above my head and my player won't reach up even though it would have been catchable.
