How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

Franchise will not allow you to continue past a date. With 30 team control if you fix all rosters you are allowed to continue.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Happens when cpu team has an invalid roster.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

Had my created player (a pitcher) put into his minor league teams starting rotation due to the injury of another starting pitcher. My RttS player pitched three games before injured pitcher came off the DL.

The problem was, he came off the DL on the exact day I was slated to start my 4th game, this caused an issue where I could not progress past that date. I would select "Sim to next appearance" or Sim Season", anything, it would not progress past that game.

I could back out using the circle button, but the game just never progressed. I saw another post stating that they had a similar issue with a specific date, but I did not note the date before exiting, and deleting the save game.



How often can the bug be reproduced?

Not sure, the situation that led to the error would be hard to recreate

When you look at the standings the Mets have stats for 11 RA and 6 RS, but the guy thats Mets says he hasn't even played a league game yet. Also, when you go to the Statistics screen it shows no stats for the Mets.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Any time I look at the Standings and Statistics in our online league

The bug isnt there anymore, but after Pirates’ game, on the standings sheet it gave the Padres his runs scored and runs against, but it was fixed when the game counted. Just now it did this same thing to the marlins and astros who just played.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Any time a league game has jus been finished.

Same as what tabarnes19 said. Playing franchise you are not aloud to play passed a certain date.The date does vary but however it's usually within a few weeks of eachother everytime. Have to restart franchise everytime. Good thing i'm waiting till the next roster up date comes out and i'm just playing around right now. I will not control all 30 teams.

It happens everytime for me but also what dabarnes19 said, everytime the cpu has a invalid roster.

Nobody on this forum is sure what the bug is because we don't know what SCEA was trying to do, but RTTS pitchers have a lot less velocity than a player with identical stats created in the player editor, and it has something to do with the way different pitches affect each other.

The word in the other thread is that it's especially bad if you create a RTTS player with a straight change, palmball, curveball, or knuckleball.

But pitchers with other repertoires still underperform their non-RTTS counterparts.

Also, in RTTS, the scouting report on the select menu shows non-RTTS velocities (which, again, are often much faster).

Every time you create an RTTS pitcher.

There are way to many(22-27)A potential pitchers coming out of the draft causing rookie SP's to win starting jobs over pitchers like Felix Hernandez ect. , Zack Greinke. All those moves done by the cpu controlled teams.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Every franchise i start and sim thru. When i can sim thru a whole franchise

playing at citi field, i fouled a ball straight back over the netting. the catcher makes his way towards the bricks, sticks his glove out, and makes the catch. should've been a foul ball, as i looked at the replay to make sure. the ball would've landed some 10 rows back. there has also been a time when the same thing happened, with the catcher running to the back wall, but the ball just kept on traveling thru the stadium into complete darkness.

i'm sure it can, but i have yet to do it.

What happened?
I had a sound assigned for strikeouts and it did not play. Instead it played what sounded like a foghorn followed by what sounded like one of the default reliever tracks.

How often?
First time encountered, changing sounds to see if it's just that particular one.

Somebody in SoS says any song in the latter half of the list (after 244, someone else says 243-up) won't play in-game, another song from the list gets played instead. The songs I tried are all in that area.

Edit: did some testing, it's anything 245-up that won't play in-game or in the menu. It'll play if you select it yourself but not automatically at random.

Could someone explain the inbox feature in franchise? I have 30 team control and have just roster related email checked yet I still receive emails about banking and coaching and everything else. Dont know if this is a bug or not, anyone else notice this?

I created my brother and my dad and put them both on the Braves. I assigned fan yells for them both and when I am in the player edit screen it lets me pick different fan yells for both my brother and my dad. However, when I go into the game the fan yells I have set for my brother are also playing for my dad. I am assuming this is because they have the same last name and are on the same team. It seems as the fan yells are tied to a created players last name and the team they're on and you did not consider that they are 2 different players that just happen to have the same last name and are on the same team.

If I trade my dad to another team then only the fan yells I have set for him play. This bug only happens if it's 2 created players or one of the fake edited minor leaguers with the same last name and are on the same team.

I also created my brother in law which of course does not have the same last name as my Dad or brother and only the fan yells I had set for him played, which is correct.

If you have 2 players that aren't created or edited minor leaguers that happen to have the same last name and are on the same team then those fan yells play correctly, and are seprate from each other.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Any time a created, or edited minor leaguer is up to bat with the same last name and on the same team. This bug was in last year's game too.

-RTTS, heres what i posted on the workarounds thread:

" i'm having a problem, it wasnt on the list on page one, so i dont know if anyone else has had this problem, but i had just completed the 2010 season in AA for the Angels (The Arkansas Travelers), during the off-season, i signed a one year $600,000 contract to be the 5th starter in AAA (Salt Lake Bees) and after spring training ended, (i didnt get an invite ) I saved 3 days before the season started, and went to sleep (it was pretty late when i finished) next day after school, i go on OS and hear that the 2nd patch had been released, so i go on and download the patch (about an hour and 20 minutes later) and i play franchise to see if it works (and it did, i'm so happy , lol) so then i play rtts, and i load my pitcher (the one i was talking about) and i choose sim to my next appearance, so i sims 3 days to the first game and stops, it doesnt freeze, but the simming wont go any further, i can press cirlce and back out, and i can choose any other sim option, but the result is the same, i had 2 other rtts carrers as well, i loaded them up, and they worked just fine but they were in the first few games or the second month of the season, so i dont know if that was it, but my pitchers one wont work, and i have spent the last week and a half or so pitching every game (with a perfect game and 201 strikeouts, a 19-1 record, and 190 some innnings pitched, so, i'm not exactly happy about this) and now i might have to start over, can someone help me with this? "

On July 10, 2011 my Sacramento Rivercat SS was selected to play in the Futures Game and I elected to play. It was held in Arizona. After the game was over and I "Sim to Next Appearance". I also play in my scheduled minor league game in Salt Lake on the same day with an 1:05 start time. Logistically impossible.


How often can the bug be reproduced?
I assume anytime a Futures Game overlaps with a minor league schedule.

Before or after I swing at the ball or before/after i pitch the ball the game jerks/judders (sorry..i don't know the proper term but i think you get what it mean?) regularly.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

For my taste far too often.Without trying to be statistically correct I would guess every 10th pitch or swing

I saved a game currently in progress. When I returned to game all my season settings were re-set to default.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Prob every time I save a game in game. This really could not be more irritating.
