Whats the Bug? How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it?
After the September call ups, if any player on the 40 man roster that was not on the 25 man roster has the same number as a player on the 25 man roster, there is a chance that the original player will have his number automatically changed. If anything, the new player should have his number changed. This creates a bit of havoc, as you have to edit the numbers back and end up losing your progression calculations.


Can you recreate it? How often can the bug be reproduced?
This will happen every time the rosters expand.

Hi, I'm playing for the Reds in RTTS and after i sim to next appearance i go to the pre game warm up but when the warm up is over it freezes. Whether i let it run or just skip the fmv? First time this has happened but it is my first season in the majors although the previous games went fine? Any help would be appreciated..

Pre-game warmup is bugged anyway (pitches taken count towards opp. pitcher's count), turn it off or sim to next game. (see #75, bug 1)

My catcher sustained an injury diving for a foul ball that was popped back towards the stands and he missed. A cutscene then shows him injured and my backup catcher comes into the game. However, the PA announcer doesn't make the "This change defensively..." announcement until just after the next inning starts (my team was home). A similar bug can be said regarding double-switches where Vas doesn't mention the new position player until either the next inning or half-inning.

How often?
No idea, first time.

Can you recreate it?
Last 4 games I tried to play online, the game freezes. Happens in diffenent innings in different situations, but the game is totally unresponsive and I have to shut down.

Top of the first inning, a runner on first and Morales is batting, as the runner was stealing base, Morales swung and it was a line drive foul ball to right field, when I went to pitch to him again it said it was "Forgot Runner's name" 1st stolen base of the year. Us Baseball fans know that when you hit a foul ball while a runner is trying to steal, he returns to first and it won't count that as a stolen base.
Can you recreate it? How often can the bug be reproduced?
Probably just a one time bug, unless you can hit a line drive while the runner is on the base or half way to 2nd.

This happens to me too! My guy is a power hitter now, but when he was in the minors this would happen a lot.

I've only seen it during franchise games, but I imagine it happens in all modes.

A ball is in play and it hits the runner. By rule, the runner should be out. I was the Red Sox playing the Yankees and Mark Teixeira hit a ground ball to first base. The ball hit the runner between first and second. The runner should have been called out. In this case, it would have been the third out of the inning. Instead, the next batter up knocks in two runs with a single, giving the Yankees a five-run lead.

Can you recreate it? How often can the bug be reproduced?
I don't think there is any way to force it to happen. I've seen it at least three times and I've had the game since release day. The good thing is that it is very rare, but it would be nice if this could be corrected for MLB '11.

Playing in the same series mentioned in my above post, I snapped a curveball off with Jon Lester on the first pitch of the game. The ball bounces, then hits Derek Jeter. He is awarded first base, as if he was hit by a pitch, when the ruling should just be a ball. To be awarded the base, a batter must be hit by a pitch on the fly.
Can you recreate it? How often can the bug be reproduced?
It can pretty easily be recreated because I could essentially (not that I want to) throw bad breaking balls in the dirt and it could hit the batter.

Franchise. Game two of the NLCS at St. Louis where I was ripping the starting pitcher a new one with HR after HR. Not too happy about this.

Bottom of the 3rd. Kershaw throws a pitch and injures his arm. It brings me to the bullpen screen. I choose my pitchers to warm up and press O. It brings me to the pause menu. I press O one more time and get stuck. I have the pause menu open but I can't move/exit. I can hear the crowd and the ticker is working fine. I'm just stuck. Such a great time for the game to freeze for the first time ever.

Can you recreate it? How often can the bug be reproduced?
No, I can't recreate game two of the NLCS where I go on a HR tear of **** proportions only to have it taken away from me by a bug. The injury was random. I hardly get any pitching injuries.

I saved my game in-game, and resumed it the next day and finished it. After the game, it auto-saved and when I was getting ready to play the next game, I accidently let the CPU DFA one of my A potential players, so I quit and reloaded the file, knowing it had auto saved, and when I loaded it, the game I had just finished had not been played yet, but the stats from the game were still there. The player card stats were not updated from that game, but the stats that they show on the lineup screen and statistics screen were i.e. Cano hit a HR, it wasn't on the card, but it was on linuep screen. If this as been mentioned before, sorry, or if there is a fix to make the game have been played, please tell me.

I assume so. This is the second time it's done it to me. Just save in-game, finish the game, and quit and reload the file.

Autosave is bugged there (doesn't matter if you save in-game or not). Sim to the next day, then save. Yeah, it's been mentioned multiple times, and has been present since at least '08.

While my team was batting, one of my batters got a walk. Before the next batter stepped up, they showed what should've been the opp. pitcher's current line score but it was MY line score they showed (name, # & stats; BB was highlighted, probably to indicate the opp. pitcher's first walk of the game, but the count was 0 there [correct for my pitcher since he hasn't walked anyone to this point]). I have also seen MY line score appear while one of my relievers was pitching.

How often?
Only seen twice as noted above.

Who knows if this is in this million page thread but I've noticed a few times that when a wildpitch/passed ball goes out of play or into the crowd/dugout, the runners all get two bases.

In reality, if a ball thrown from the mound goes out of play the runners are only awarded one base; not the two that Show always gives them.

Should be an easy enough of a fix for next year but needs to be addressed

Setting training to "Auto" and receiving "No training" mail telling me that I have not assigned training assignments to my players. If I sim to the end of the season without changing anything, players progress +4 to 9..

Can you recreate it? How often can the bug be reproduced?
Bug seems to be permanent, regardless of whether I start a new Franchise.

Re-reporting latter of #31 - also happens sometimes in sim game trainings in same situation (runner on base, pitching from stretch).

When a base stealer reaches 1st, the graphic comes up that shows his stolen bases, caught stealing, and pct....but they all say "0"

Happens every game...can't remember when it started doing this.

Thome was batting and he got hit by the first pitch of the at bat. The next batter was Kubel and the graphic came up about the "Countdown to 600" and it showed that Kubel had 84 HR. :LOL:

I guess its not wrong...Kubel has 84 career home runs, but I know the "Countdown to 600" graphic was intended for Thome.

Bottom of the 7th my team is at bat. I go to the bullpen by clicking on the START button. When I get a guy throwing and exit, the game freezes!

It seems many people have been complaining about this being a problem. Make sure you test this properly for The Show 11! There is no excuse for this to continue being a problem!
