Ive been striking out on 2 pitches when a magical strike comes out of nowhere. in other words ill have an 0-1 count and the game for some reason is treating it as an 0-2 count. ive also experienced a strike out on a 1-1 count as well

How often?
its happened about 3 times in my past couple games

I've mentioned this in a previous post here, but I've heard it happens in your first AB of the game if: you are in the top of the order (1 2 or 3), you have pre-game BP on, and you foul the last pitch of the BP.

Simmed teams BA w/ RISP is almost always lower than their overall BA. Average looks to be in the 20-30 point range. (Real world: higher happens about as often as lower.) BA/OBP/SLG totals match real stat averages, with runs/ERA about 1/3 of a run per game lower than real life (which is about what you'd expect with RISP as a 25 point hit to BA).

How often?
I've simmed 5 seasons (1 with release day update, 2 with Knight v. 1, 1 with a recent SCEA update, and 1 with Knight v. 4) and played about 3/4 of a season with Knight v. 1. In total, out of 179 teams I'm not playing, 177 have BA w/ RISP less than BA, 1 tied (Braves with recent update), 1 with RISP better (Mariners in played season).

Whenever i've just entered a new game and the commentators are going over the starting lineups and defensive positioning, when it shows the Braves defense there is a little brown glove next to Martin Prado and Yunel Escobar's names (i'm assuming this means they are past gold glove winners, but neither one has ever won a gold glove)

there is also a brown glove next to Mclouth, of course because he HAS won a gold glove, and he's the only one that the commentators mention

How often?
Just noticed it the last three games i've played, but may have been there longer, i just normally skip that part

The message regarding the transaction handbook has "encounter" spelled "encoutner". Just now noticed it, but it's probably been in there since day one.

When you start a franchise and you view your messages.

What game mode did the bug happen in? (Front End, RTTS, Franchise, Season, Gameplay, Online, etc....)
I've only had this happen to me in Franchise, but that's really the only mode I've been playing lately...

Whats the Bug? How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it?
I'm about a month into my franchise, and it seems that I end up having a game freeze on me about every 3 or 4 games. It usually always happens late in the ball game when I'm coming out of the bullpen and back into the start menu.

Can you recreate it? How often can the bug be reproduced?
I can't produce it at will, but it is definitely happening on a consistent basis. Like I said, it usually happens every 3 or 4 games, and it ALWAYS occurs when I'm exiting the bullpen. I end up frozen on the start menu every time. I can still hear the stadium sounds and the PA announcer, and I can still access the XMB too, but there's no getting out of the start menu.

The DH is to be used in the all-star game, regardless of venue; this is a rule change made this year. 2011's AS game is not using the DH.

How often
Every All-Star game at an NL venue.

When i start my franchise i do a lot of trades noticed it happening like month ago where the game freezes on me. and now i play a game and it freezes for 2 sec then the whole system shuts off on me. anyone else have this problem???
Wanna make sure its not my ps3...played another game and never did that???

past 3 times iv tried to play my franchise with the mariners from roster i downloaded

With the bases loaded and Orlando Hudson at 2nd base, Justin Morenau hits a ground ball to shortstop, but before it gets in the hands of Alexei Ramirez it hits Hudson as he is running from 2nd to 3rd. The ball deflected inside the infield and everyone was safe while the run counted.

Has happened one time in 20 or so games.

This is a fundamental of baseball and should not be over looked. If you need video I can post that as well.

Every time the pitcher's last start is mentioned.

This also happens in RTTS, saw it twice regarding the opp. pitcher. Had another weird one here...

What happened?
I resumed pitching in the 8th, paused to look at my count. However, the player shown (pause screen) was not my player but another pitcher (I was STILL on the mound). In addition, the pitches shown were of the "new" pitcher, but they were still MY pitches being thrown. The stats were still correctly being applied to me, but as I started having a crap inning, I wasn't being pulled and eventually aborted the game.

How often?
Jury's out on this one. First time seeing, reloading and playing the game again.

What happened?
I am in year 2015 with the Mariners, and April 9 against the Toronto Blue Jays, I can't simulate past the date. It seems as if I can't play, simulate or manage the AAA game for some reason. I tried exiting, reloading and restarting the game and PS3 and it still won't simulate past. All of the lineups are correct and such.

How often?
Well, it does it even if I reload the Franchise

This change was made by Selig after the game was released. I'm not sure they ever fixed it.

Freezes in the first initial screen going into the manage roster screen. Have to restart it every time, once it restarts he works fine.

Josh Hamilton was hit by a pitch after working the count full. However, the team's walk song played and the next time he was up to bat, it showed him as having a walk & being HBP'd. The box score and game log both do not show him being walked, however the game log noted 3 walks in the first inning (another batter, besides Hamilton, was HBP'd but he wasn't also chalked with having a walk so that only should be 2). Looking at Hamilton's playing card under season stats, he was credited with both; however, again, the walk should not count.

How often?
Get HBP'd on a full count. First time I've made a note of it; I think it also happened in RTTS (my SP hit a batter and it triggered the walk song, don't remember if the count was full there).

Edit: according to another player, this happens if you get HBP'd on ANY 3-x count.

Cubs at Reds (I'm Reds). Chris Heisey makes a nice running play in the LF/CF gap to end the top of the 7th. He leads off the bottom of the 7th and comes to bat with his fielding glove on his left hand instead of his batting glove and with his normal cap instead of a batting helmet. He's still holding the bat and all the other animations are normal, he just "forgot" to get ready to hit... He managed to get a single anyways, so I guess it doesn't hurt anything.

How often?
First time it has happened.
