When they show the runner's stolen base stats for the season, it always shows 0, even if you're a good amount through the season for him to already have some numbers.

How often?
Any time an overlay is shown regarding a player's SB stats.

This one is also since Day 1...

With a runner on base and pitching from the stretch, sometimes the pitcher's windup will be SUPER FAST and not his normal "from stretch" delivery, but it only happens for one pitch. The next pitch's meter will be at a different pace and still not his normal stretch delivery. This time around, it happened on the first batter I faced entering as a reliever (with a runner on 1st) AND THE FIRST TWO PITCHES WERE SUPER FAST.

How often?
No idea, seems to be random. Might be certain players' deliveries but don't really know. Have seen it with Kerry Wood and Jeremy Guthrie's deliveries for example. Could probably chalk it to having a rough outing but the current situation would debunk that since this was on the first batter I faced.

This also happens with the opposing pitcher either while you're batting or on base.

Never seen this 1 before and probably takes the cake.

Mode: Exhibition Gameplay

What's the Bug: Basically Twins player Joe Mauer hit a line drive off Mark Texiera glove and the ball went fall and was called a homerun. It hit off Texiera glove on the 1b line and went foul and was called a homerun.

Cannnot recreate that lol

The cpu manages the game at times instead of letting the human player manage.

How often? Every time you play a game in franchise, manage mode.

I had the above happen in RttS too, I wanted to check an arbitration outcome before mine and when I go to the roster screen the game freezes and I have to reset the PS3.

Problem.

2B threw past 1B into the dugout at Busch, I was the batter. Ball went under the stadium, like happened at Moonstone and the catcher ran against the dugout, game didn't stop nor was it called out of play and I circled the bases and scored.

How Often?

Only seen it once, but it was the only errant throw I've seen there.

Bases loaded, 1 out, around the horn double play... except the run scores. No bobbles, nothing. Vasgersian gives the whole "But the run scores!" after I complete the play and end the inning.

I only ever just ran into a situation like that, where the runner crosses the plate before the play is finished on a double play. But something tells me it won't be an isolated incident.

2 player season offline. (this bug would probably occur in all play modes though)

The bug is a freeze. I was playing a season game. It's the bottom of the tenth inning tied at 1. Red Sox vs. White Sox. I am controlling the Red Sox & my friend is controlling the White Sox. He has a man on first. (Pierre) He takes off on the pitch for second base. I anticipate he might try to steal so I pitch out. Instead of the ball going wide the "pitchout bug" kicks in & the batter (Gordon Beckham) is hit. If I remember correctly, my pitcher was Manny Delcarmen.

However instead of going to first, Beckham just stands there off to the side to the left of the batters box up the baseline toward third base but in foul territory. (kind of in a southwest direction from homeplate) He doesn't move. He just stands there. Nothing can unhinge the freeze.

The only control I have is to pause the game or hold down the PS button to quit the game via the PS3. (not ingame) I can see the firstbaseman on the top of the screen strolling around a bit. But I have no control over doing anything onscreen.

If I pause the game the only control I still have to move the control pads to either CPU control or to the other team control. But even bringing it to CPU control & then unpausing the game did not eliminate the freeze.

I was forced to quit the game via the PS button. (the in-game pause screen quit option was greyed out as well as all the other options in the pause screen except the above mentioned controller movement)

Can you recreate it? How often can the bug be reproduced?

I am not sure if I can. I guess if you duplicate the exact above situation. the same result will occur but I can't guarantee this. I hope this is enough detailed information in order for any bug tester to try to duplicate the bug.

Next pitch, my delivery changed to some funky side-arm delivery that was no where near my assigned stance (Leo Nunez). This happened twice and after the sidearm problem, my pitcher went through his assigned motion.

I did change my delivery from Leo Nunez to Gen 15 before the game, I preferred the timing.

Can you recreate it? How often can the bug be reproduced?

Two questions:

1) Was there a runner on base, thereby pitching from the stretch and if yes, which base?

2) Are you an SP or CP?

I have seen this myself (latter half of #31) but only as an SP, yet to see it as a CP.

I tripled and then scored on an errant throw to 3rd which went into the dugout.
The game scored me as 0-1-1-0 - 1 Hit on 0 ABs. Next up I singled I think and 3rd time up on the ticker it showed me as 2 for 1 today!

I hit a drive off the green monster near the yellow line in center and it bounces off the wall into home run territory in the space in center. It is then called a ground rule double. There were runners on 2nd and 3rd and one out.

How often?

This is the first time I've seen it.

Whenever you play on Opening Day, All-Star Game, or Homerun Derby in 2011 maybe every other year after 2010 aswell, a blue L shows up around the logo panted on the grass

Yes, every time i play where there is a year-specific logo on the grass

I've simmed a few years ahead to see if that happened on mine, it didn't. You probably need to delete and re-install the game. Somebody posted about this on B&G2 as well.

Game freezes when attempting to exit bullpen? happend once in four games, now happening evey game. but has been reproted by numerous other users. game freezes and is does nothing.
Can you recreate it? How often can the bug be reproduced? Yes, almost every game.(Please help)

I'm hearing this happens if you enter the pen from the pause menu. I use the quick menu and have not had a freeze, so it appears that the freeze only occurs if you access the pen from the pause menu.

Game Killing Freeze. I went to my bullpen to warm up my closer in the 8th inning. I selected my pitcher, and when I hit CIRCLE button to return to the game, the controller became completely unresponsive (frozen). I tried turning off/on the controller several times & even swapped it with 2 others I own, but nothing helped. I could only use the PS button to quit the game (I also was able to save a pic of the frozen game screen via the XMB, but that's it. I had to quit the game).

How often can the bug be reproduced? - Not sure. This is the first time this has happened to me post patch 3.1 (I had the Tropicana freeze a while back after patch 2, but that appears to be fixed now...I hope).

I have no idea if this is related, but about an inning or two prior to the freeze. I was pitching (meter, from pitcher view) and I suddenly became unable to select any pitch to throw. I was still able to hit R2 to see what the catcher was calling, but it wouldn't let me select any pitch type. I thought I was stuck, but I was able to hit the START button and call a mound visit. After the meeting on the mound, everything started working normal again until the game killing freeze in the 8th that I described above.

Another detail that wouldn't seem to be related, but I want to give as much info as possible. Prior to playing my Franchise game, I went on SC and saved the latest official roster (from 5/31). I wasn't using this roster in my game though, since my franchise is already in full swing. I only downloaded it to see how SCEA rated certain player's attributes.

As much as I enjoy playing MLB 10, if this type of freeze continues to happen I will be forced to shelve this game for good unless a fix is discovered. Not a very good value for a $60 game that has been nothing short of a 3 month glitch-fest. Like many of us with busy lives, it's so hard to make time to play and then to have everything wiped out after playing for over an hour is just infuriating and not acceptable by any means.
