Whenever you play on Opening Day, All-Star Game, or Homerun Derby in 2011 maybe every other year after 2010 aswell, a blue L shows up around the logo panted on the grass

Yes, every time i play where there is a year-specific logo on the grass

I had this exact same thing happen on opening day. I am starting to wonder if anyone even tested this game. I mean why would you add a dynamic year changing icon and then not test to see if it actually worked?

Unearned run counts on pitcher

Can you recreate it? How often can the bug be reproduced?
Catcher throws the ball trying to get the runner stealing, but the throw is an error on the catcher who threw into the outfield. The base stealer then moves to 3rd and comes in to score on a bad throw by the outfielder. An error is the scorers decision but it still goes into the pitchers earnd run stat. Please fix for The Show 11. Peace!

It's related to the bullpen... I was doing a double switch in the 7th inning. I was keeping my pinch hitter in the game and bring in a new reliever. When it showed my team on the field, my pinch hitter was on the mound, when I went back in to my bullpen it showed the switch but my bullpen screen stayed on during the rest of the game and I could'nt do anything about it , except turn the game off.

Can you recreate it? How often can the bug be reproduced?
This was the first time in 10, it used to do it to me all the time in 09... always when I was doing a double switch

I pre-click circle to throw to first, and the shortstop holds the ball.

Can you recreate it? How often can the bug be reproduced?
I will field a grounder from the pitcher or the 3rd baseman, and throw the ball to 2nd on a double play. I will PRE-CLICK Circle to throw to first and my player will hold the ball, and proceed to REFUSE to throw. It happens to me once every 4 or 5 games. I think the glitch is based on the response of the clicking the button. It seems like an easy fix.

3rd Base coach gives me to the sign for a hit and run while I am on first base and the batter dosen't make contact and after the game The Manager says I can only steal if I am told too. (You DID tell me Skip) I then get benched. I have lost my starting job 3 or 4 times due to this

Happens every time the batter swings through the pitch when a hit and run is on after the manager said I do not have a green light on the bases.

How often?
Every time I load my settings. Again, I set the tips to OFF but they are ON when I load them. The setting won't stick.

Statistical overlays seem to only work for the dodgers!

this may have been brought up before, but I've only just got to a series against the dodgers so I've only just found out there's a problem. During batter walk ups, they show the stats, and normally, for me as the braves, nothing else. I go to LA, and now every LA batter has an additional piece of info in their walkup screen....which is soooo cool...so now I want some!

eg. Ramirez comes to the plate and it shows 8HR as per normal, but this is highlighted gold and underneath it says 546 lifetime (16th overall). this is amazing...and I think it only works for the dodgers, cos I signed Mientkiewitz (sp?!), who is wearing a dodgers cap in his photo, to cover for Glaus being injured and whenever he comes to the plate for his first at bat of the game, it tells me he has played 20 games (which must be how many he played for the dodgers last season!) but i don't get any additional info for anyone else, which is a shame, cos it's a darn good feature for it not to work!

Secondary to this is that, if there is nothing to show, i.e. they are not high in any category or on a hit streak, it seems to show the games played for last year. Furcal came to bat and it showed 150 games under his stats....about 55 games into the season!

every dodger that's come to bat, in their first AB of the game, has a piece of info....so long as it's worth while, eg 3rd in steals, 5 game hitting streak, T-6th RBIs etc etc. no-one on my team has it and i haven't seen it on any other team and i'm 50+ games into my 'chise.

I think that happens if you play an ex. game prior to playing a franchise game. Those only show up in exhibition as I understand it. You're talking about one of their stats from last year being highlighted and there's a note underneath right? (ie. SB is highlighted, "Leads NL")

This isn't entirely the case because in my Yankees franchise I get the notes for my hitters during their first AB of each game, and I never play an exhibition game first. However, the notes aren't exactly accurate. For example, whenever Jeter comes to the plate it puts a gold box around his current avg. in my season (.283) and says "3rd in AL" which is where he finished in 2009 (.334). Same with all my other hitters, it highlights the current stat yet the note refers to 2009. This would be fine if it gave any indication that it's referring to last season, but the way it's displayed it looks like it's talking about the present. The funniest one (or most depressing, not sure which) is for Robbie Cano because for some reason I can't hit with him at all in this game and his avg is pathetic (somewhere in the low .200's), yet every game it puts a box around his lowly avg. and says "6th in A.L."

For some reason, I can not maintain a connection to Sportsconnect to do anything online with the game. I'm signed in on PSN, can access the PS Store, played another game online, yet can not maintain a connection on Sportsconnect. I'm trying to download rosters, just got the game, yet its frustrating that this doesn't work.
It is happening all the time, sometimes I can connect and after I go through the announcements, it usually goes to a blank screen with nothing but the background, the music at the top, and the help bar on the bottom. I can change the music, but no other button works and I have to wait til it says I'm disconnected from the server.

well that would explain the fact that furcal had played 150 games by june, it was showing last years games played!

also, i don't play ex games before either, so i can't see that affecting me....but I'm glad someone else has seen this and it's not just the dodgers!

if they could implement this feature properly next year, it would be awesome! i remember triple play baseball 2000 (or similar) used to have a stats projection bit at the batter walkup and during the game which would tell you how many hrs a guy was likely to get based on the amount he had already got in how many games he had played. something like this CAN'T be too hard to implement!

Game 1, of a 3 game series between Red Sox and Yankees, im at bottom of the 1st inning and the count is 2-2. Sabathia pitches the ball (im Dustin Pedroia) and i check swing, its called a ball. At this time the announcers say that its a ball, but they get cut off by the animation of the umpire calling me out.

Im not sure if it can be recreated, but it sure was annoying. Very small bug but still could be a problem for key at bats..

In a franchise game at the GAB, I induced a 6-4-3 double play with one man already out and standing room only on the bases. However, the runner that crossed that plate was counted as a run despite the inning ending on the double play. After reviewing the replay, the second-base umpire never called the runner sliding into second base out, but the game recorded him as so. The runner coming into first base was called out by both the game and the umpire.



I've been in in the aforementioned base situation multiple times as both the pitching team and hitting team since the latest patch has been installed, yet this is the first time this bug has occurred.

Franchise Mode

I was recently playing a game @ the Astros stadium Minute Maid Park. Bengie Molina ripped what looked like a double to the right-center gap. The ball ended up passing through the bottom of the fence and to who knows where. The end result was an inside the park homerun for Bengie Molina.

I don't know if it could be recreated. I'm sure if it happened once it will happen again.
