    Re: Two weeks

If you lead off manually three time in a row you will get picked. I have tested this. I am talking about a one step manual lead and especially its annoying in a late game situation when I am trying to rattle the pitcher. Never fails.

      Re: Two weeks

It's probably too late in development to ask for this, but how asking about an "official scoring" menu or manual override system?

It may sound arbitrary; as I'm sure the dev team has taken a look into how errors and such were scored in this years game, but I'd like to be able to take control of games and be my own judge, with the veto power on ruling hits and errors over myself and the CPU.

      C'mon...

Some of you MOM guys would live this too!!!

Yeah, leave it to me try and get what I want by appealing to the MOM lover in Knight!

How about fast forwarding to a players AB instead of just inning option?

Can you check to see if the Raddison Hotel has been put in left center field at camden yards? Also, when is the community event?

First thing first: Happy New Year to all MLB gamers and SCEA team ( and gamer's wives supporting us starting March 8th :-) )

Second, my new resolution for 2011 is 1080p

Talking about managers, I would like them to have a better dynamic impact. I mean. some tendencies to steal bases, h & r, some are more patient than others with their pitchers.

Knight, there is a little something IMO that can be done with pitching rotation on my controlled team. If I decide to schedule Sunday Start to another pitcher who was scheduled let say Monday, and if after I'm too anxious to sim the rest of the week, this pitcher will have a second start in 2 days.We should at least get the type of warning we have for a tired player. But I know the workaround is an easy one and this not a major requirement.

again, I have not seen this. I've had the cpu try to pick me off sometimes 5 times in a row and I made it back safely each time, all while taking a manual lead.

I know this was mentioned last year too. Would be a great feature indeed.

                        Haha Yeah no kidding.

I still want to see an actual scorekeeper mode. Where I watch the game and keep the official score. Scoring baseball is a lost art. So much fun. Darn it if that double switch doesn't get me every time though.

I don't even lead off anymore. There is at times a slight delay when getting back to 1st. I've been picked too many times. Sadly, I send the runner with no lead. If he gets a good jump, I let him go. If it is a delayed jump, I simply call him back to 1st before he gets too far. I would love to see the CPU pick me off of 1st when I do this. Where I think there needs to be a delay is the 1st and 3rd steal. I've brought this up before, but it is way too easy to steal home with runners at the corners. The CPU needs to respond differently to that situation....throw to 3rd or have the pitcher cut it off if the runner at third breaks too far.

I'm not implying that I haven't been picked off, just not that it happens on every 3rd throw over when I take a manual lead.

While I know that Russell stated that pickoffs are based on ratings, I still press the R1 button(return to base) when the pitcher attempts a pick. It may very well be a placebo effect, but it has done wonders for my opinion and enjoyment in the cat/mouse duel that is the pitcher/runner.

I posted a thread about this a few days ago but could you ask if the generated rookies in franchise mode have random batting stances and pitching wind-ups of actual mlb players instead of just generic ones?

Okay....I'm really back from the flu now.
Man that thing k'ed my a$$

A lot of good things in the thread.
I promise to mention every one of them to Kolbe or the appropriate dev. I'm sure a lot of them we will have to repeat for the wishlist for NEXT year's game....as it's really too late to add something entirely new.
They MIGHT be able to add on something to something that is already in the game...but not rewrite to get something that's not in...in.(Sorry, if I'm not being clear enough)
I'll be there Monday of next week.....and will get on the franchise things first.(tbarnes sent me a COMPREHENSIVE list of things that need fixing and I really want to get on those right away). Like I've said...with the additions that we already know about(and still some we don't)......being mostly surrounding the gameplay and mechanics of the gameplay, I don't know how much was done with franchise.....so I figured let me try and help present to the devs things that are most urgent with that.

As far as asking about stadium specific things...I'll pass that on to someone to look at if they can.

Other items....I'll go down the list.

Happy New Year to everyone by the way!
