    Re: Two weeks

Sorry if this was mentioned, how about setting up your pinch hitters before the pitcher reaches home plate. I hate this!!! Maybe something similar to how we can schedule our relievers to come in before next at inning. I would like to see a smoother way to pinch hit, and set up defensive replacements.

    Thanks for everything!

      Re: Two weeks

1 small feature that I've always wanted in this game was a way to copy my lineup to all the other lineups. So if I set my RH w/DH lineup, I want the ability to copy that for the other three lineups.

          Very good.
          I hope yours was also!
Yes...got the e-mail tonight. Posted back.

          Bremser and bergie...
          Yes.....I want those also!
Brem...thank you. This is something that bugs me, but I always forget to go over with Kolbe.

I'll definitely take all of these with me guys. No worries about that.
Like I said....some things(the things you guys are asking to be checked)...may not be ready yet....or I may not be able to comment on. If it's something new...I definitely won't be able to say anything until the dev blog.

          tbarnes...
If you could do me a solid...ANYTHING you have(bugs/glitches/ideas) for franchise mode...especially things that came up in '10 you uncovered...PM it to me?
          Thanks.

I know that one of the Devs (i forget which one) said Create-A-Stadium will never happen, but what about relocation?

You could relocate a team and the dev team could make a couple of preset "base" stadiums that you can somewhat customize. Kindoff like Maddens stadium builder. Not too in-depth (because that would be a pain in the you know what to render) but something that would make franchise even better.

Just 2 things I can think of for you to check Knight,

                1. Can you see if the Mets bullpen was fixed for next years game

                2. Can you see if K-Rod awful pitching motion was finally fixed in this years game

                Thanks man!

I think if they ever did a "relocate"(don't know if the MLB will allow this in the game...they really do lay down some heavy rules...) it would be perhaps in franchise mode if they would allow you to ask for a new stadium...and there would be a number of them already in the game locked....you get to choose one and go from there.

                  tbarnes ...thanks.

MetsGiants...what specifically about the bullpen? Pared will pick it up I'm sure....he always points out Met items.

                    Re: Two weeks

                    almost forgot Knight.
Please check if they got rid of that ridiculous HEIGHT/WEIGHT/AGE overlay when a player makes his debut, either batting or pitching.

Shocked that the baseball heads as SCEA have had this in the game for 5 years.
I have NEVER seen that show up as a pop up in any baseball game.

Maybe, MAYBE during a college hoops game.

It will be a happy day when that goes the way of the dodo.

                      Re: Two weeks

Not sure if this qualifies as the type of glitch your talking about Knight, but...

In MLB 10 during an at bat, when you press the button to see the pitch history (the screen that shows what pitch types the pitcher has thrown so far & their location), the different colors that indicate the pitch types were way too dark & hard to distinguish (you may recall that many people complained about this when the game came out).

This was not a problem in any of the previous versions of the game where the different pitch colors on this screen were always very clear and easy to see. I'm really hoping this has been tweaked for the better in MLB 11. This was probably the "glitch" that bothered me the most in MLB 10 (certainly the most often). I know that there were franchise AI problems that were much more serious than this, but this one directly affected game play in every single at bat. If you can please add this to your check-list Knight, it would be much appreciated & as always, thank you.

My love for baseball started with the Brooklyn Dodgers. I don't remember them ever wearing "batting helmets" just their cloth hats. I know Don Zimmer almost bought the farm when he got beaned with no helmet.

Would you ask if "no helmet" and "helmet with no flaps" can be added?

Yes...been looking forward to this as an option for use with the classic teams you do Knight. Unfortunately, SCEA tends to turn a blind eye to all things that would assist in classic team/player representation due to MLB rules and/or fear of lawsuits.

At a minimum, I'd love to see no ear flap helmets added.

I do not think they are turning a "blind eye", more so it is development time and prioritizing.

You know what's crazy about this though? I was originally playing '10 on a Samsung LCD in my living room and had the same issue you appear to be having. But about 2 or 3 months ago, I moved my PS3 into the bedroom after buying a plasma LG to go in there and, believe it or not, I can now tell all of the colors apart. I know it's still a problem, but it's odd how much the two TV's differ in that aspect - night and day (I guess "night" would be the one where they were too dark to distinguish colors.:wink.
