Dear Knight,
I understand from your message that player potential and years of service are non-editable characteristics. However, as I understand it, with the new Player Vault one has at least the option to hunt for a fictitious player of the potential and years of service from any franchise for a particular player before creating him. The player vault gives alot more flexibility.

Would love to see the (hopefully updated to HD) Right Field scoreboard at Oriole Park, as well as the upper Left Field part of the stadium where the new retired numbers should be. Thanks!Comment

Re: MLB 11 The Show Community Day Discussion Thread - Questions, Answers etc.
I sure don’t want to be a killjoy, but at this time last year we were all raving about pictures of stadiums and players that you guys were nice enough to send us. They looked incredible... and they were. We were all pumped up and couldn’t wait for the game’s release. When we finally picked up the game and started playing... well, we started singing a different tune. Of course the stadiums, the colors, the uniforms still looked incredible... but oh, they were so many problems with gameplay. The people at SCEA then realized that indeed there were quite a few glitches and flaws. They proceeded to send us 3 patches to fix them. This year, hopefully, gameplay will be better right from the start. I realize it can’t be perfect. I am no programmer and I can appreciate the enormous amount of work that goes into building such a fantastic game. Don’t get me wrong. I AM NOT DISCREDITING ANYONE. I read every single comment on this post. I find them most informative and the respondents are sure on the ball (no pun intended!). I am looking forward to buying the ’11 version. My only wish is that the gameplay will be as incredible as the pictures we have been getting. I keep my fingers crossed.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o

Any more online goodness that hasn't been revealed yet? Is it possible to roam around in the sportsconnect menus and take a look see?
Thanks.PSN: ToxicitiComment

That's nt good news on no "new" classic stadiums, but the Player Vault addition sounds very promising. I was holding out hope for Tiger Stadium, but there is always next year.
So far the graphics and features look amazing, is the gameplay as amazing?Comment

Thanks for the Citi Field shots!! I mean, I am ASTOUNDED at the realism they put into the scoreboards this year. Right down to the photo cards on the screen.
One question about the Mets pinstripe unis: did they make them the "cream" color this year? Last year's was still the "white" when it should have been the retro style.
Thank you agaiin!
Edit: Could you post an image of a Met in their pinstripe uniform??Last edited by amosfisher31; 01-12-2011, 10:40 AM.Comment

Yeah me too, but I like the sounds of the player vault additions as well, it may be easier to create those classic seasons.Comment
