i've seen this mentioned but not understanding...

what exactly is *complete daylight progression*?

do we have more options for afternoon start times...like midday or late afternoon?

Nemesis, what about catcher masks? When using the alternate Reds jerseys in '10, the new style mask for Ryan Hanigan was black instead of red. Do you have any idea if this got changed? Thanks.

What is their batting helmet color?

All solid now, Red Bill? Home? Away?

Hey Enigma, I went to Twins home page and Mlb.com and two other sites the only helmets I could find were the solid blue's from last year. There are some small changes to the uni's it looks like but I am sure you guys knew that already. But I can't find anything about new helmets. Sorry

Also I hope that you SCEA and the makers of MLB 11 The Show redo some of the stadiums for MLB 11 The Show. Like for exsample progressive field to me it has'nt been right over the last few years it's still missing the LED scoreboard.

Also when the braves are on the road they wear the all navy blue A cap not the home red and navy cap anymore. That has to be fixed in the game for this year.

Some teams will have different afternoon start times.
I've seen for various teams....12:45.....1:00.....1:15...3:00...3:10.... .4:00...and there were 6:00 starts(that's a night game though.)
You CANNOT choose start times though....they are all schedule related.

The actual daylight games...have been expanded on...the shadows...lighting etc is worked to be stretched out to a more gradual progression to the later time in the game.

Knight, I know you've answered in regards to the changes made to the relief appearances and pitching overall, so I hope I'm not "repeating" questions, but:

1) Has the issue where the cpu at times would start a pitcher in back to back games due to a roster move in franchise mode been looked at/fixed?

2) Has the "spot" start logic by the cpu been addressed? At times last year the cpu would spot start a middle relief pitcher and at times would leave them in the 5 man rotation, instead of calling up a prospect.

I realize #2 may venture into the area of the "improved call up/send down" which may be talked about in detail in a blog

EDIT: Thought of another, unrelated to pitching question.

Is there a screen or the ability to see the coaches for other teams? Last year, I didn't play the Pirates until mid-May and was impressed by how well they were playing, only to learn when he made a pitching change that Mike Scioscia had taken over as manager.

Maybe not a dedicated screen, but I would settle for some notation in the off-season that a particular manager/coach has agreed to manage/coach a certain team.

Enigma I PM'ed you this question but just wanted to make sure you got the info to Sony.



Concerning the Phillies Uniforms.

In season mode when the Phillies play afternoon home games they are wearing the wrong Uniforms.

They should be wearing the "Alternate" Home Uniforms. The ones without the red pin stripes.


Also one other small Uniform issue when the Phillies wear the "Alternate" Daytime Home Uniforms all the players should be wearing the "Blue helmets" however the Phillies catchers are wearing the "Red helmet" when catching in the field. And it should be blue not red.

Here is a video of MLB 10 The Show showing the phillies wearing their "Alternate" Daytime Home Uniforms with blue helmets. And you can see the catcher is still wearing a red helmet.

Can you check if these 2 Uniform issues were fixed or can be fixed before release?
