Did the 3d effect make your eyes hurt? On NBA 2k11 it is almost painful to play, especially the cut scenes.

It didn't make my eyes hurt, but I never played it for more than 20 minutes at a time.

Ive watched almost a full movie in 3D and was fine. So a few games of The Show wont hurt
I seriously am looking forward to it. We'll see but right now Im leaning towards buying one.

I did a quick search to see if this has been asked before, but I was unable to find any answers. Im curious as to why this does not come up more often but anyways...

Do we know whether or not we will be able to use our RttS players from previous games? ('10, '09, etc)

I know this was something that was left out last year, but it appeared to be high on the 'To Do List'.

Is Jim Edmonds going to be put back into the game? Or is he going to be in the first roster update? In which he will be almost like a created player. He is back in St. Louis and played last year.

He'll most likely be in the game this year. Last season he wasn't he because he didn't play in 2009.

This is something asked all the time, and the devs realize how much it is requested. They hope that one day they can make it happen but it is a very tricky thing to do.

I'd say there's a good chance he'll have his beard. They put Cody Ross' in, so it wouldn't surprise me.

when your playing against the Cardinals do you get a ton of cut scenes in the dugout of LaRussa and Duncan if their pitchers are stinking it up? part two of that is if you are playing against the cardinals have they made sure to use the "LaRussa rule" on how many times he will make pitching changes through out a game? lol just wondering

this will be my first year with playing a decent baseball game....buying a ps3 next week just for the show, selling my 360 and saying goodbye to 2k forever!

hopefully you more experienced "the show" players can answer this question

in regards to the custom music, does the music you insert into the game for batter walk ups and things like that sound good? does it sound like its coming from the stadium and have that stadium sound to it? with 2k I always edited the music myself, cut it down and added some reverb to it so it sounded perfect...will this be necessary in the show? thanks!

Dont sell the xbox keep both. All i play is the show on my ps3 but everything else on the xbox. The sound sounds great you should be fine.

It sounds great. Built in reverb etc... I put in vendors, walk up and team spcific sounds and they really make the atmosphere that much better.

Don't know if this is the right topic for this but... I just pre-ordered MLB 11 for PS3 at a GameStop around where I work and the nice lady that works there gave me a receipt, I came home and noticed that there isn't a code there for the MLB.TV thing... did it end or something?

I'm guessing they will give you a little paper thing with the code on it or it'll be printed on your new receipt that they will give you once you pick up.

Baseball starts in about month or two so it wouldn't make sense to start giving out the codes this early.

True but on MLB The Show's forum it says they end the offer I believe on the last week of February, also says to put the code in by 2/28/11 or something to get 30 days plus extra days till April 28 I believe...
