BLZER and I had a question concerning the "customizable camera"

How do we account for "flipping" the image if we wanted to depending on whether a righty or lefty is batting, if our camera is uniquely offset in such a way that we would prefer that flipped image? Hopefully it will account for this on its own.

I would be surprised if anything in game takes this into consideration. I'm sure you will have to create two different cameras and switch back and forth from them as different batters come up.

Someone asked about SotS times. I do not recall of the top of my head, but I do know the end of game song is about a hair over a minute I believe. I will have to refer to my notes.

Sounds great so far. 1+ minute is way better than 10+ seconds we got last year lol.

To answer your question, I have submitted information on it, and the environmental lead was made aware. There is a good chance the banners have been addressed, but for the "eye bar", you more than likely have to wait till next year. I am just impressed they did some changes to stadiums like the K and Yankee while we were there. But it is definitely on the radar for next year.

I will be gathering information again for next year when the wish-list threads open for '12.

As for the 1080p question asked earlier. Game is 720p. There is not enough memory with what they are pushing with the rendering engine for 1080p native. If you force it, it will be just upscaling 720p I was told.

Question for those CD guys who played RTTS ... The hitting and pitching aspects of it have been covered extensively (good at bat, bad at bat, etc.) but what about fielding?

How will the fielding be graded in terms of performance in the new system? And what about for those who just like to simulate their fielding chances?

Could someone tell how the new player performance system works with fielding. With hitting you have good, bat and great at bats, etc. But will a shortstop get more training points if he makes a diving stop in the hole and makes the out at first, then he would get fielding an easy grounder? Because that would be great.

If you make bad plays in the field like covering or throwing to the wrong base, then you'll lose training points. I never came across a situation where I made a great play in the field and got extra training points for it, I just received the normal points for making putouts and assists. As a pitcher I had some great innings like coming into the game with the the bases loaded and then pitching into a fast double play to end the inning. I didn't feel like I was rewarded enough for that and mentioned it to the devs. The asked me they were still tweaking the performance system.

As for simmimg opportunities, your training point total is going to be significantly lower if you don't play the games from what I saw, but you don't get a ton of training points from fielding so if that is the only party you are skipping then you won't be missing out on too much.

Just create your camera starting from the offset and it will flip for R/L handed batters.

Anything? I have been looking all over for anything i could get my hands on and see nothing about any new features to this years franchise mode.

I think i read it had better trade logic, and free agent logic. Nothing major will happen to franchise till maybe mlb 12. Its still going to be a great game and you will still play franchise because of all the other things added to the game like wether and RAIN
