Can anyone confirm if there's still that pop-up graphic at the top of the screen during the game which shows the pitcher's ball-strike ratio, like in '10? Thanks, guys!

And there were 2 players on the Cubs side of the deal too (no, I don't remember who the other one on their side was either...)Comment

Re: Official MLB 11 The Show - Q&A Thread
Sorry if this has been asked, but in season or franchise games, does the schedule start early like it does in real life this year? I believe the regular season starts on Thursday, March 31st and Friday, April 1st irl this year.Comment

1) It wad fixed when I made them aware of it at the CE. So it should be in final. There are flags, but not teams specific. Still all the same flag bitmap. Maybe some day, just like the unique park specific scoreboards. I can imagine it is a big coding undertaking for just a section of flag art and division standings with it.
2) Do not believe there is vibration feedback. But having different levels of vibration based on how solid or not a hit is would be a cool feature. Add it to the '12 wish-list thread when it goes up.
2) Will do. If it's not in this year, I think it would really help the analog hitting. I like the analog but it feels a little "empty" or "airy" when you make contact, if that makes sense. A little buzz when you tip one foul; a solid jolt when you crack it off the sweet spot. Would give it a little more immersion and improve the feel of it."60% of the time, it works every time."Comment

Re: Official MLB 11 The Show - Q&A Thread
I use RT w/ replay, so I was wondering...
1) Will I be missing out on the 'celebration' of NLCS, etc since I don't use "broadcast" presentation?
2) Will I be also missing the NEW "pitch sequence" in this years game - where they go through an ENTIRE pitch sequence (at-bat) instead of just one pitch at times.

Re: Official MLB 11 The Show - Q&A Thread
Did The Show include little Tidbits Stats or Factoids that pop up as overlays on the screen to make you feel like your watching a telecast?....Similar to the way NBA 2K or MLB 2K does it?
If not, has there been any improvements in the stats they provide during a game?
Also, anything notable added to FRANCHISE MODE that may be worth mentioning...Like a new stat, or record books, or new features that may not have been in The Show 10?
Thanks, I love Franchise Mode...so anything that can immerse me more into this mode would be exciting to knowComment

Re: Official MLB 11 The Show - Q&A Thread
I was lucky enough to score the game today. The first thing I did was create a RTTS player. Not seeing a way to juice your player up with skill points like last year. Is it not available in this years game?
I found it. Must be locked until release date.Last edited by rscotm2; 03-04-2011, 04:44 PM.Comment
