Re: Official MLB 11 The Show - Q&A Thread
and how do you save to your profile? I understand saving a franchise keeps the sliders and rosters that were presented when you started or are most update while playing your Chise. However, if I want to play an exhibition, I still need to upload my sliders and roster.Last edited by rynecandy; 03-07-2011, 05:42 PM.Comment

Re: Can you turn off analog pitching icons???
One thing I may add to my earlier post is I think it would be cool if they had the option for analog where you aim the pitch like in classic and then use the rock and fire using the stick like in analog. At least you could use the motion to make it more realistic instead of just pushing buttons.

In regard to JayD's question about uniforms in franchise a couple pages back, about teams randomly wearing throwbacks or alternates. Are you saying that even though they have added mix and match uniforms this year, we cannot choose the uniform we want in franchise, it is chosen for us ? If that is the case then mix and match is absolutely useless! Tell me this is not so !Lets go Mets !

Re: Official MLB 11 The Show - Q&A Thread
Question about fielding.
I posted a thread about this but it was closed since Russell referred me to the tutorial video on youtube.
However I don't believe the tutorial does a good job of explaining one thing. How do I throw for accuracy? I know the yellow green and red inner circles depict how hard you throw but the outer ring that shows green red and yellow seems to be something I can't control.
I really don't see how I'm supposed to control the accuracy. Even on cleanly, well positioned fielded balls, I throw errors all the time.
help?"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed"

Re: Official MLB 11 The Show - Q&A Thread
There is no more profile lile last year where stats are kept. Now is called begginger and expert with another in the middle. This is the profile that saves everything for you. Except rosters and sliders which must be loaded each time from what I can seeComment

Depending on what level you are using, it is all about the angle you push the stick. To far and it is a wide throw
To fix this there are 2 options
Turn Meter OFF for throwing which puts the players ratings to use in terms of throw power so all you have to do is get the throw there but not worry about power
Or go to sliders and reduce the throwing errorsComment

The other ring the one that stays on screen around your player is the accuracy meter. You control this by how offline or online you are when you press over the base. If your online it will be green, offline is yellow, and very offline is red.Comment

Re: Official MLB 11 The Show - Q&A Thread
Well...you guys would see the beauty of the Player Vault if they make an update that suits you better than the base that we use for the OSFM.
We aren't tied into any roster .....even AFTER we release the Full Minors.
If an update that SCEA puts out...is much more of a standout than the base we use....we will simply import our players into that update. We'll be saving them in packs...team by team just for this purpose. Perfect for a trade deadline set as guys are traded and for an end of the season set as well.
We'll be using the latest update available from SCEA...if it works better in our plans.
While in previous years...we were pretty much tied into whatever we used first...otherwise it meant doing EVERYTHING over on top of a new one....that's no longer the case.
