Re: Official MLB 11 The Show - Q&A Thread

    Hello,

I was just wondering how to make the game play like last year's version? I mean without the pure analog controls, and just with the same controls as last year. Do you just adjust the pitching to meter, and all the other options like hitting and fielding to classic? The way I had it without the analog controls had me only being able to pitch and hit and the game did everything else for me.

    Thanks

There are pictures in a thread I posted somewhere to give you an idea where to look.

I looked five rows in on replay during a game and couln't find it. I thought, "Maybe it's because of all the people, they might be blocking it." So then I went into batting practice and hit some to RF and I still couldn't find it. Maybe then, it shares a relation with the manual scoreboard in the fact that it was not there either. Just a black, empty spot.

Is there a way to not have so many people in the stands so I can see it?

Difficulty level influences percieved pitch speed as well.

For instance, 5 (default) AS is slower than 5 (default) on HOF. Therefore, the slowest slow is 0 (all the way to the left) on Rookie...from my experiences anyway.

hi guys, is it not possible to shrink/move the pitchnig meter in Broadcast view?

I wanted to use the 30 team broadcast views and also shrink the meter causes its in the way a lot of times but it wont let me.

any workarounds from the OS boys?

A year ago, I seem to recall a part of the game where you unlock things like big heads big bats and so forth. I think one of the unlockables was slowing the ball down.

Are those unlockables in this game? If so where? Or was it removed? HOpefully you know what I'm talking about.

It was blasted half way up the RC stands. Ill get a link to show you.

                                It was a BLAST!

                                Here you go!

The lone red seat in the right field bleachers (Section 42, Row 37, Seat 21) signifies the longest home run ever hit at Fenway. The Ted Williams hit was officially measured at 502 feet (153 m)—well beyond "Williamsburg". According to Hit Tracker Online, the ball, if unobstructed, would have flown 520 to 535 feet.
