Don't know if it's already been mentioned and I've never paid attention to it before so I don't know if it's been this way in past iterations, but opening the season at Wrigley and the ivy hasn't grown in on the wall yet... great touch

Don't know if it's been stated yet but if you go look at the Rays Triple-A second baseman, you'll find a little suprise.

It's probably been mentioned, but just thought I'd share anyways.

Playing @ Baltimore. Roberts hits a ball to Teixeira, Tex bobbles the ball then runs and slides into first for the out, just beating Roberts. The way the animation was done, you could distinctly see his left foot reach out for the bag while in the slide. Very well done.

I'm still trying to figure out if I just saw what I think I saw (and I can't go back and look at the replay). I'm playing an exhibition as the Pirates vs. the Cardinals. I'm facing Wainwright, and McCutchen just lined out to SS. Then it looked like McCutchen crossed back to the dugout by going near the pitcher mound, causing Wainwright to point his finger at McCutchen, then gesture around the pitching mound while jawing continuously (ala the infamous Braden fiasco). Has anyone else seen anything like that?

Yah. This was in last year too. It usually stems from a "brush-back" pitch, that happened earlier in the bat.

Not sure if this was mentioned but as a life long Longhorn fan I was excited. Only happend once so far but when Taylor Teagarden came up to bat they said in commentary "Taylor Teagarden steps in now, the former Longhorn"
                        Drew Stubbs is fast

When Jeff Samardzija takes the mound, they mention his playing days as a college wide receiver.

thats awesome. I like that kinda stuff since im a massive college fan. I wonder how many other players are mentioned about their colleges.

Yeah Matt V says something like, "And you cant talk about this guy without mentioning his days as a college Wide Receiver, Jeff Samardzjia."

I hate the Cubs but I've got to admit I like that song. It's catchy!
