Haven't really gotten to play all that much since I bought it. But, I play usually with the Phillies. My first game with Halladay, I hit right on the corner and they called it a ball. Eric Karros chimes in with, "oooh, he might have gotten that call. But, I think he's on the cover of the wrong game."

    LOL made me laugh.
I think this should be like an OS Meme LOL.

I've only ever once pitched with Halladay and i got the worst call i've seen while pitching. It was no where near the corner it was in the box and it got called a ball. Soon as i saw that call i was waiting for that little piece of commentary it made me laugh hearing it for the first time.

lol yeah, I just went back and read the thread and saw how many people posted that. But, like I said, I haven't gotten much of a chance to play.

It's probably been said on here earlier, but one of the things I've wanted for a long time is an adjustment on the out of town scoreboards. Before this year, the boards would have two random teams and random scores that never updated. I always hatted that it would have some interleague while others played in their own league, and I REALLY hatted it when it said that I was playing a team that I wasn't playing.

When I played my first game this year, I noticed that it acted as if other games were going on with updates, and it fixed teams playing in their own league (unless I'm playing interleague). Really cool thing that makes the Show what it is.

One of the things I love about the game is the crowd. I Mean they are all doing something different, There were some eating, picking things up, looking around it is awesome. I remember the days of Tommy Lasorda Baseball and the fans were these big circles with arms that just moved in and out. Ha Ha Think I might play some Tommy Lasorda tonight.

What's even sweeter is that the boards show outs, runners on base...

Dave mentioned Strasburg having had surgery.... I wonder if this effects his in-game performance and/or this comment is only made for a specific period of time?

The Ump rung my guy up on a horrible slider that was about 3 inches off the plate and my RTTS guy was talking smack, got halfway back to the dugout and he turned back around to get some more, the ump just sort of shook his head and pointed him to the dugout and was not having it!

I dont kno how to post a video but I've got a few to show what I mean.

Sometimes, fastballs that come inside and FLAT come out of the hands from arms that are going in a downward diagonal movement. It makes no sense physically and it's nearly impossible to judge.
That would be just like real life. Sanchez is damn near unhittable if he can throw strikes, because of his arm angle.

The game is by no means ruined, it's a bit of a nusiance because I'm in the AL East and Ervin Santana somehow landed on the Orioles and Sanchez is not in the AL also (in all of RTTS trade logic glory). But there are other pitch deliveries where the ball literally shoots out of the hand parallel to the ground but their arm is moving DOWNWARD to the right or left.
                        This.

I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to hit Sanchez. It's frustrating.

Can I get a list of all the pitchers people have seen with this issue?

I know Jonathan Sanchez's is weird, it doesn't match the way his arm should go. Like a little hitch.

I played against Santana last night, but got a few hits of him. In that video, to me just looks like Sanchez flicks his wrist when throwing. Look at this You Tube video, fairly similar if you ask me
