So I was watching the Royals-Twins game tonight and I got the itch to play The Show. I set the lineups and everything the way they are tonight and get going. The Twins starting pitcher Brian Duensing graduated from Nebraska as did Alex Gordon. When Gordon came up, the Royals broadcaster Ryan Lefevbre mentioned that fact. Then when the matchup came in The Show they said how this was an interesting match up because they were old college teammates! Blew my mind. Definitely one of the little things that makes this game so great.

I think announcing in The Show could use a refresh in general, but one thing it does very well is have a lot of cool facts/stories/details like that. Makes every game feel different and new.

Love that they put the Train horn sound effect in at the Safe. It gives my home stands an incredibly genuine & realistic feel when I hear that distant horn sound a couple times a game

Anyone else noticing the temperatures for the games are real low? I know it doesn't have any effect on the game, but it should be fixed.

I know people think Canada is cold, but an april night in toronto is above 45 and daytime in april is over 55.

Supposedly exhibition is set for around july, so I find it strange how the sun sets after 8pm yet temperatures for jays games are as if it's march. Even when I played a game in LA, it was like 55 at night.

Couple nights ago i hit a walkoff with Braun and when he got to home plate he did this boxing thing with Prince Fielder. While googling Prince Fielder images i saw an image of this celebration. Pretty cool that they have something like that in the game.

Damn i love Braun in this game.

Played against the twins. Span was trying to beat an out he was called out. I was tapping X to continue then saw he was on the ground. Commentators mentioned he pulled up sore and in pain. Went to the replay to see if it would show in the replay. Amazingly it did. Now this is what makes MLB 11 so special.

A couple of days ago I was playing pretty well in one game, virtually every time I had RISP, I found ways to bring them in, and then on a RBI sac grounder Vasgergian (I think) said something like "these guys are doing all the little things right today. Maybe someone will post this on the internet and call it the little things thread".
I was in shock whien I heard it lol

Everyday I love this game a little more, wow!

I finally have been getting around to my franchise play....
I saw the previously mentioned pop up about Heyward and his homer in his first MLB at bat with the This Day in Baseball overlay. Very nice.

I wonder...have you guys seen more of these as the season goes on? ...and I wonder, with the LEGENDS being no longer allowed in game...will it be limited to current MLBPA players? I hope not...as I would love to see pop ups about Thompson's '51 Shot Heard 'Round the World......Rickey breaking the SB record....etc.
Christ....I want one of those in EVERY game!!!

I also like how they show the grounds crew after the 3rd inning. And i know this has been mentioned but that scores ticker is freaking cool, I just love it!

Same here... I've played a few of the Jackie Robinson Day games and if you pick the right jersey it comes off looking awesome... I was the Pirates in this pic...



As you can see there are no last names on the jerseys I selected for the teams to wear that day... I went ahead and matched the whole uniform up but the only thing you really need to do is change the jersey... maybe next year they'll have all the Jackie Robinson Day jerseys look like that... I also hope that they're able to get special hats in the game next year, I heard they couldn't get the Memorial Day/Independence Day/9-11 hats in the game for some reason or other

I hit my first professional hr in RTTS against the guy pitching against me right now... this is in the in game menus when playing RTTS also works with RTTS pitchers, you can see how a specific hitter on the team you're playing does against you.
