This isn't a glitch, but a major annoyance that I don't remember happening in last year's version.

While pitching and using the behind the pitcher camera those advertisements behind the plate are changing far too often. The worst thing is that they happen during my windup most of the time which really throws me off when I'm trying to focus on the meter (I use meter pitching).

If this was happening last year I would have noticed it so I believe last year the ads were probably programmed to stay put while you were winding up to throw a pitch. I would really like to see it behave like that in this year's game, right now all the flashing behind the plate is headache inducing.

After a pitch I would sometimes fire one down to see if I can pick him off. Well I fired one down there and the baserunner advanced, problem is it would not let me throw to second base to get him. It just set up for the next pitch, baserunner automatically gets second base.

Is it just me or is this game crashing a lot behind loading screens? It's really wreaking havoc on my RTTS because I don't like Auto Save, so I could be 20 games into very good winning clip, hitting or pitching very well. Load up a game and...it never starts. My custom song ends and it's non-stop silence.

Really takes me out of wanting to play again.

I just had a complete freeze, and had to exit the game via the PS button on the controller. top of the 8th inning in GABP, I had Chapman on the mound, went out for a mound visit, I had a pitcher up in the pen. This was in manage mode. Game wouldn't let me select anything all I saw was the pitching coach talking.

Just had a weird occurrence of events during a game I just played. I was playing vs the indians and a ball was hit off the wall in left field in PNC park. I was running towards it to attempt to make a catch but was going to be way late. Ball hit off the wall, into the ground, then hit Tabata in the arm and went into the stands. During the actual play I could not tell where the ball went so I am running around trying to find it. After watching the replay after the ball hit of Tabata it got lost in the stands and the batter got got an inside the park HR and runner from first scored.

I have not seen this happen in real life so not sure on rule on this but I am pretty sure it should have been ruled a ground rule double.

Similar thing happened to me, the ball gets hit to left field and goes through the wall. Instead of being a ground rule double, the hitter gets a inside the park hr.

Does anyone know what causes all the hiccups during cutscenes? i.e. when a batter strikes out and is walking back to the dugout, the game pauses for a split second. It happens alot and I was just curious if anyone had a technical reason for it. Thanks.

Not to be a complainer but the little issues in this game keep it from being one of the all time greatest games ever.

I mean, ball/wall detection with balls going "through" walls.

Incorrect calls on homeruns fair or foul.

Guys getting to 2nd without a throw when the catcher throws to first.

I mean, these are fundamental issues that should not be in this game. These are gameplay issues, not some wrong color helmet or the scoreboard is too small...

Kinda sad.

I agree completely. This was released at an unacceptable level. I've only played for a few hours and been affected two major issues.
First, a ball bouncing off a foul pole and not being a homerun. Second, on a long fly ball with runners on first and second. The runner at second takes a small lead and goes back to the bag. The runner at first goes almost all the way to second and stands there about one foot from the bag. Of course, he gets thrown out.

Dont know if anyone has seen this one, but I was playing with the White Sox against the Indians at the Jake, and Adam Dunn hit a towering ball down the right field line that hit the "fair" pole about 2 or 3 feet from the top. I DID NOT get credited with a home run. Should have been a 2 run homer. It was in the top of the 8th inning and I ended up losing by 1..lol. The ball bounced back onto the field, and Choo threw it to second, ALMOST throwing me out. Dunn is no speed merchant as you know.

When I watched the replay, he went in to his "no doubter" pose when he hit it, thats why he was so slow out of the box. I replayed it 2 or 3 times, and when the ball hit the pole, it sounded like it hit the outfield wall, not the "ting" sound it usually makes when you hit a foul pole. STRANGE!!

Just a smaller audio issue, sorry if its been mentioned.

For some odd (and annoying) reason whenever the AWAY team has a hitter who whiffs big time at a pitch the crowd boo's?? it happends around 4 times a game. Again not a huge deal but it does make you scratch your head

I agree that the collision detection in this game isn't very well played.

I also noticed something while playing. I like to pitch from behind(broadcast view) and I am currently in Spring Training and when I pitch to a batter and he foul's it staight back to the backstop, you hear the sound of the ball hitting up against a chain link fence even though the backstop is padded.

There seems to be a glitch where the manager will pull the closer in a closing situation if the closer gives up a hit or two and is still in a save situation but the manager pulls the closer.

I am also finding again this year that the position players are fatiguing way too fast and doesn't appear to be a way to adjust fatigue even if you purchase upgrades. Many position players play 140-160 games per year, but position players can't play a week without the need for substitution. The only exception is DH.

This is all in Franchise play.
