That's stinks if there is that franchise glitch again BUT luckily I never get that far in franchises maybe year 2 and a half. So yea for me, lol.

There must be some setting somewhere that is different, that is causing the results to be skewed....locating it will be the issue

Perhaps I've just gotten lucky? I've only run about 5 tests so far, one did have Hanley Ramirez sitting in FA after 2013 but that was it. However Tabarnes has run 100+ tests which I know increases the reliability of his results a lot more than mine. So basically, take my results with a grain of salt but it is odd that I haven't seen as big of an issue yet.

TAbarnes, try testing it with the Phillies as your sole team just to see if somehow some teams screw it up? Just one other setting to check though I doubt that affects it. What are your settings before you start the franchise (ie the screen that lets you choose a fantasy draft, etc.)?

The problem happens 2014 season 3 years out. Maybe that's the prob?

I'm confused, do all the FA start appearing at the beginning of 2015 or 2014? I have simmed past 2014 once and still didn't get as bad of a FA pool as you had in your pics but I honestly think I might be wrong somewhere or am missing something or just lucky as hell so far. To check the FA, I just go to the tab that FA is on and click then look at the left. That is the top FAs right?

Yes, it will be released with the MLB '13.

Unfortunately there will be no patch to fix the game this year, and it will likely carry forward to last year as it did this year. By 2013 there will likely be a new franchise engine running.

Hitman you really need to cut this stuff out. This dev team is great and they know of the issue and I am sure they are working on it. This thread is for info and discussion on possible workarounds or root cause.

As far as fa I look spring 2014 in fa list. They should all be listed.

I looked at it both before and after spring in 2014 and it stayed the same. My last pic is from 2014. Seems like most FAs get signed in the off-season. I also noticed trades late into august, I thought that wasn't possible? Isn't the trade deadline late july/early august?

July 31 is non waiver trade deadline. Trades after that the players need to pass through waivers. Trades can occur anytime just have to be by Sept 1 to be eligible for playoffs.

As to why you are not seeing this I am perplexed I just had my friend run a sim on his machine and he listed the names, similar to mine. He is emailing me pics.

They did say there was going to be a patch last week. Unfortunately, they said the same thing last year.

I guess I'm bringing negativity to this issue, so I apologize for that, but it's tough to turn a blind eye to an issue that is now 1+ year in the running. When we're told once it will be fixed (a year ago) and a year later we're told the same thing. Am I supposed to believe it? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

I really really do hope I'm wrong and the issue is addressed. I want to go buy this game and get playing, but I refuse to have unrealistic expectations. This game has the potential to be great, but for a RTTS and franchise buff like myself and many other OS members, it's a game breaker.
