well brett gardner is a beast in the game.. In my RTTS he finished a season batting over .300 with 8-10 homers, 50-60 doubles, and like 70 Stolen bases(he almost won MVP).. Now 25-30 games into the new season he's batting .400 with 31 STOLEN BASES already O_O dude is a monster in the game, I hope he plays like this IRL for the yankees lol

Players that are not good IRL but good in the game?
are there players who aren't necessarily all stars in real life yet but in the game they are?

If they exist, they don't last long in my game, thats what editing is for.Comment

Scott Sizemore. I'm hitting .381 with 17 RBI in mid May, and I have him leading off at times when Jackson is struggling. Just insane.Comment

So says everybody who actually watches him play. Might as well have a black hole out there at shortstop, especially after last season when he couldn't post anything above a -4.7 UZR. Although in the game, he doesn't play to well either, so he's not overrated in The Show.
On topic; Chris Davis and Michael Young are the two biggest that I've noted because Davis always puts up big power numbers and Young has some of the best defense in the game. Both Davis and Young are lucky to even be with the Rangers at this point in real life.Rangers - Cowboys - Aggies - Stars - Mavericks

I like how you're using BS sabremetrics as your reasoning behind that. There's something called actually watching a game. Besides, even people who put faith into that sabremetrics crap say that you can't get an "accurate" reading from UZR unless you use three years worth of data. Just throwing that out there. So says everybody who actually watches him play. Back on topic: Anyone else looked at Joe Mauer? Obviously he's a phenomenal player IRL, but I was 15 games into my franchise before restarting (wanted to get back into 30 team control) and he was hitting .770. I mean he's good but... really? Haha. That's the only thing I've had time to notice. My ADD has kept me from getting much farther than that in a franchise
This one's the real deal though!

There is more to defense than web gems and I would take Jeter batting #2 in my lineup over anyone else. I hate the Yankees but Jeter is a winner and always seems to get the job done.Comment

I noticed Rick Ankiel was top three in homers for the first few months with the Nationals. I know that's not possible. Watching him in a Braves' uniform last year, the guy could barely hit .200 and had little power.DB'z dynasty - Michigan Wolverines
