well...as I said I'm not sure how they do it, but it CAN and HAS been done numerous times in the past.

PS3 firmware updates can be downloaded and transferred. Game updates, as far as I know, cannot be transferred and can only be downloaded from the PS3 with an Internet connection. To be able to transfer an update you'd have to copy the Game Data (usually >3GB, not the same as a Game Save) and I'm pretty sure that's not possible.

Just swept the ChiSox in my franchise post patch. Man, I threw a ton of hitters pitches but they didn't do much with them. If I didn't know any better, I would have bet they toned down CPU hitting too. Pre Patch, the CPU would smoke any hitters pitches. Weird... not a big enough sample size to really comment on this I guess.

...i'm seeing shots up the middle snagged by pitchers a little more...

Last year, they never stopped anything; this year they stop everything. I like this year better; I am certain 12 will be perfect.

the wind is still an issue for me. Played 3 consecutive games now where the wind is above 10mph. I know that can happen, but it seems to be holding the trend of pre-patch.

The patch didn't make the earth less windy; just lowered the effects of it: "Wind influence reduction based on extensive tests versus real life stats and community feedback"

Not sure if it was already posted, but thanks so much Ramone for unlocking the rest of the "hidden" stances! As someone who enjoys editing players stances, deliveries, and accessories, this was huge to me! So thanks again! There still might be a few out there, but for the most part all the important ones are now unlocked. Yes! Later

Did the dirty uniforms get fixed? Whenever I slide into a base sometimes the uniform gets dirty, sometimes it doesn't. Then the next time he comes upto bat his pants are always dirty and his shirt is completely spotless.

Still the same..
Pants get dirty, shirts stay clean.

Man I can't express how perfect this game plays! Gameplay has definitely been nailed... IMO.

I've been overrunning balls with my outfielders... woohoo! I think this patch made it look more like they wanted it to, as opposed to 10 w/r-stick controls.

i'm not sure but it seems like the pitchers are also pitching around big power guys like kemp and puljos happened too me twice today before patch they would attack every hitter the same. it seemed like that to me anyway.

Yeah, it seems like that to me as well. I had a runner at 3rd, 2 outs, Aramis Ramirez up, and Dan Haren wanted no part of ARam whatsoever (a very obvious 4 pitch walk). Before, it was noticeable to a degree and I would get 4 and 5 pitch walks at a decent clip, but I don't think I've ever seen the CPU want completely no part of a hitter. I was then able to single with Carlos Pena to score the runner at 3rd. Haren then pitched around Tyler Colvin (to load the bases) and pitched to Geovany Soto, who was able to hit a grand slam with 2 strikes on a contact swing, it was sweet.

Also, the CPU may attack the plate more in blowouts as well. I was up by a good amount all game; 5-0, 5-1, 6-1, 8-1, and finished with a 9-1 win. After the 1st inning where I got 2 walks, I was only able to draw 1 more walk (on a full count after fouling off a couple pitches) for the rest of the game as the CPU was throwing a lot more strikes.

Now if Knight and Co make a new roster consisting of the new updated minors (which was scaled down) everything will be perfect. I'm playing with the first Knight roster and everything seems good with BUDGETS ON 30 team controlled and im in September 2014. Seems like money is getting a little tight, which could be adjusted with some roster/potential tweaking. There are ways like Budgets OFF to counter this, but a new Knight roster set off the new minors rosters would top this game off.

The error glitch on ball 4 in the dirt is quite annoying.

I walk a lot and had 3 errors called on the opposing catcher in the last game, of course all incorrectly...i guess the worst it can be is skewed fielding percentages for the catcher and team.

Not a big issue by any means but i was surprised this made it back in, it was a well known issue from years gone by.

Yeah, it's a bit surprising that a bug that was fixed in a patch last year returned this year. I guess the one good thing about catchers sucking pre-patch is that the bug was much more rare than it is now.

This is a shame. So I guess it's not just bad discs, and is in everyone's game? I know this is probably the last patch. Oh well, the game still plays great.

Wow, it looks like this offseason bug in franchise will not go away, I doubt we'll see a thrid attempt to fix it, considering we heard it was fixed before the game came out, and then was told it was for sure fixed in this patch, only for it to be here.

I get it ...workarounds, yet that doesnt fix rtts mode and from what it seems it just delays the problems in franchise, i'll see you guys next year, hopefully when this bug is finally fixed.
