1. Fielders moving, and stopping, with natural looking momentum.

2. Hits that feels organic and logical based on where I was pointing to swing combined with the pitch type (sort of like in, er, some other games before it)

3. More customization in camera angles, especially fielding.


Without these, it'll be a rental next year..... well, it'll probably be a rental regardless.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this or not, but this goes for us roster junkies. I WISH that there be an online server that stores our rosters or at least make the vault accessible year in and year out kind of like Madden had the ability to upload rosters from NCAA. I know that new players are added, but considering a player has to be a member of the MLBPA for him to be added it would be nice to access our previous rosters/payers. Every year we spend countless hours tweaking players only to have to do it again upon release of the next game.

I want to be able to take my Manny Machado and upload him into the 2012 title without having to fully re-create him. Half of the work goes into the OSFM and takes months for most of us to be able to start a franchise.

I'd love to see some serious improvement with pick off moves for catchers, You honestly can't do it in this game. You can throw the ball to first after a pitch but your catcher just kind of lobs it to your first basemen. Guys like Yadier Molina don't just lob the ball over to first.

realistic catching animations [not just for the catcher but all fielders], when they catch the ball it doesn't look natural, if they closed their glove and the ball disappeared it would look more organic, right now it just sits there.

Also i feel that franchise needs some improvements, such as better free agent bidding, more player personalities [players requesting trades], franchise pregame bp [if I just start up the game I like to take a few swings to get my timing right], More focus on pitchers confidence.

Another thing for franchise, take away the ability to view all of the other teams player ratings, utilize your scouts to gain moire information [potential is the major focus here]. Also training needs to be revamped.

Better focus on umpires! their mechanics are wrong, when you call time they should say 'time', and play should be 'play' not play ball, add more umpires and make them look more realistic, just like the players.

Another thing i'd love is a full swing preview, instead of just seeing the stance just to give myself a better gauge of how big the step/stride is.

I am looking for a total revamp of the Presentation!!

I want to finally see a Presentation that truly looks,sounds and acts like a real live TV broadcast that you see on Fox Baseball,TBS, ESPN and MLB Network.

A total revamp of the Presentation would breathe new life into MLB The Show and make it truly feel like a brand new baseball game!

The current Presentation style is too old and is not up to par when you compare it to some other sports games on the market.

To say the least I will be very very disappointed if Sony uses the same Presentation again in MLB 12 The Show.

I want a major update and not just some new colors slapped on the same old overlays stats.

In my opinion the current Presentation is the only thing keeping MLB The Show from feeling fresh and new.

I am also looking forward to hopefully seeing the "Real Time Presentation" getting some love this year!

"Real Time Presentation" was pretty much not touched in MLB 11 The Show and that was kind of disappointing. I would like to see all the little things added to RTP like batter slapping the first and third base coaches on Home Runs. And also runners slapping each others hand as they cross Home Plate. Maybe also others this like runner taking off there batting gloves and putting them in their back pocket. And how about Bat boys and Ball Girls added also.

Needless to say RTP needs a lot of work.

maybe the create a player could be a little better with more body types, more options with the faces, and more hair styles.

correct attendence! just because the twins are playing the padres doesnt mean its gonna be empty at target field, its always sold out!

have the minny and paul sign at target field light up and stay lit during night games!

better commentary, and maybe more signature things like throwing, catching, running.

better player faces

the ability to create stadiums and uniforms and be able to upload your on loogs like the ncaa teambuilder

100% agree, this game looks really good on the field, a few snags here and there but all in all its a solid game. It just needs to capture the atmosphere of being at a park. Yankees vs Red Sox in October sounds like Yankees vs Orioles game 100 on the road. New broadcast team is a need. Someone needs to Kidnap Dan Schulman and use him as i feel he is by far one of the best baseball minds in the game.

RAIN!!! i played more than 90 games in franchise with the yankees and it never rained. It was weird they added rain and you get no rain

Uniform changes that need to be made
-different options for stirrups instead of having the high loop have medium and low loops
-low top shoe option
-enforce the rule that pitcher's sleeves have to be equal length
-arm sleeve's for position players and selecting the color of that sleeve
-oakland a's sanitarites(the sock under neath the stirrup) are suppose to be yellow but are white in the game
-ability to choose socks and sleeves before the game in uniform selector
-dual flap helmet for all minor league games, so when they get to the majors they have normal helmets
-organizations that require minor leaguers to wear their socks a certain way have that rule in the game, so again they wear socks however they want in the majors
(for the last two points i was mentioning how when people edit the roster we are stuck with all minor leaguers with dual flap helmets and most with high socks)
-enforce MLB's rule on the color of bats
-Rays and Giants striped sox, fix the Cardinals and Sea Dogs striped sox
-minor league alternate uniforms

The main issue I have had in the game, which many have touched on is the outfield defense and hit types. I have played this game for 7 months straight and have seen about 3 balls hit directly over oufielders' heads. That happens every single game in real life. Outfielders are responsible for about 90 feet behind them and 90 feet in front of them, yet balls are never hit behind them unless they are high off of the wall. It goes back to the fielding point, the ball travels way too slowly, not every ball into the outfield is a towering fly ball. Fast outfielders will get to some hard hit ones in the gap, but going straight back is a whole lot different, though hard to showcase in a video game.
