Re: What are u looking for in MLB the show 12 ?

I would like to see a foul ball actually hit a batter on the fly they almost never get hit off the bounce and if they do they dont fall to the ground! there needs to be a better bunting systom then the one they have now. especially the leadoff hitters some have slap bunts, drag bunts like my man furcal!

It would also be nice if the pitcher would look the runner back to second every now and then. I would also like to see fans with different sighns or have brooms if there team was going for a sweep i think this would add a great immersion afect to the game. and give me some cool home plate animation plays at least 5 or so. this is the most exciting play in baseball! also more in depth sliders for infield and outfield.

this is the most important to me the computer AI when i have eithier come up with a tie game in the ninth and the manager brings in a right hander to face him when he has lefty specialists in the bullpen. this really needs improvement! if they add a couple of these in 2012 ill be a happy camper!

The number of extra base hits is shown below the score after the batter hitting one. Just like what MLB 10 The Show does.

I hit Barajas twice in the same shoulder spot with a 100 mph fastball and he just shrugged it off. I intentionally hit him with Chapman. The other thing is pitchers get whacked by rocket balls in the leg, arm, and wherever else by line drives up the middle and they also don't get hurt.

                Oh boy where to start...

                1) As it's been mentioned...DYNAMIC COMMENTARY. I cannot stress enough how important this is for people like me who play almost every game in a season. It's currently way behind the times and almost painful in it's current state.

                2) Stat overlays...and lots of them. Not just for my team but for what's happening around the league.

                3) NL/AL Monthly/Weekly player awards...I'm surprised nobody's mentioned this. The commentators actually point out a few players during the season that won awards during last season so I'm sure this can be easily implemented. Also would be nice to add Manager and Comeback Player award at the end of our season.

                4) More hit variety...besides the occasional bloop hit, balls put into play take almost the same route too often, whether it's straight to a fielder or through them, or up the middle, the trajectory of hit balls seem to be repeated too often. The same goes for foul balls.

                5) A drastic...and I mean DRASTIC reduction of balls deflecting off the pitcher. I wouldn't mind going at least MONTHS between seeing this happen, and with proper consequences(injuries, leaving the game, etc.)

                6) Some animation tweaks. I'm referring to the oft-mentioned "lack of urgency" issues. I'm pretty confident this will be addressed but I'd like a few more to get the same attention, preferably the pitching motions and catcher's animation packages.

                7) And finally...RT presentation expansion. This was touted a couple years ago as the future of sports games yet it's seen minimal attention so far. Mostly needs more TV style camera angles during and between plays.

I may have a few more suggestions if any come to mind.

One of the 100's of ideas that would give franchise a fresh/immerse feel to it. Gameplay is great for the most part, but getting through a 162 game season, playing every game, is hard because everyday feels the same during the season. I would kill for a weekly highlight show ala NFL2k5, highlights of other games during mine. I need a dynamic franchise as a whole.

I would be happy if they improved Franchise mode, and overhauled the stat keeping in the game. So many weird errors are called, and I hate that after I advance to the off-season I lose so many important stats of players. Batting average, home runs, and RsBI only tell so much of the story. I want to be able to look at a player's OBP, SLG, VORP, WAR, UZR, xFip, wOBP and other sabermetrics. I paid for the advanced stats package and didn't really get what I thought it would be, but I was still happy with it. What I didn't like though was that there wasn't a record of every in franchise mode. I still think The Show 11 is the best baseball game of all-time and there is no doubt in my mind the 2012 edition will eclipse it, but I really just want a great game of baseball from the micromanagement to the macromanagement and more stats!

The main thing that needs to be fixed is the pitcher confidence and player fatigue. This has been a problem for many years.

Ok this one probably isn't do able...

So WWE has design a sign/shirt/stuff in their game, and you get authentic signs/shirts/stuff. What about a feature to design outfield wall? So I could have the iconic WB Mason ad on the wall of Fenway, Yankee stadium.

                              RTTS
                              1. Pretty simple here: Get rid of the "need" to put points into irrelevant stats. As mentioned before, slugging 1Bs should not have to spend on bunting and arm.

                              Franchise
                              1. Past info from stats to contracts to teams played for.
                              2. A better system for contracts. It's annoying juggling menus and player menus to find out if a team outbid me. Also, if a player lists me first, then make me first. Why are teams jumping me after I just saw that the player had me No. 1 and nothing changed. Maybe throw in "Play for a winner" or "Money" for what the player is looking for.

                              Gameplay
                              1. Urgency issues. Period.
                              2. Pitchers getting hit with balls. Please reduce.
                              3. The ability for a catcher to throw out good baserunners with a ball in the dirt. Please reduce. Significantly.
                              4. Pitcher confidence. Plays a bit too much of a role.

Just thought of a few more things I feel are a bit more crucial to gameplay...

                                1. Bunting NEEDS to be made easier... this has been neglected for YEARS now, either make the bat and batter transparent, or speed up the animation to pull back the bat. It's almost impossible to judge pitches out of the zone yet the CPU can IMMEDIATELY pull back when the user releases the ball.

                                2. Pitcher's confidence should NOT be increasing when the batter is fouling off pitches, especially if he's throwing the same pitch repeatedly. If anything it should remain neutral or decrease.

                                3. When players are brought up to the majors, I'd like to be able to see their previous minor league stats. They're nowhere to found until you send them BACK down to the minors. Very cumbersome.

                                4. A bit less important but, All Star selections...particularly the reserves. Why are players finishing second and third in voting left off the team while other players with AWFUL numbers are included? Seeing players hitting UNDER .200 being called All Stars looks ridiculous.
