    Hope so, DJ!

Love the option as well (all sports titles should have it) but I tend to use it only when I REALLY need to.

    It bothers me both ways...

    1) Your pitcher is dealing through 6 (confidence about full) and need to save. Upload the in-game save, meter is now near the halfway mark.

    2) Your pitcher gets shelled early, save it and then return later only to see his confidence has improved - feels like I'm cheating the system. lol

When paying at Fenway, is there a new fielding camera that will allow you to see the ball go over the green monster now??
I know in previous versions the camera wouldnt angle high enough and you could never see the homerun balls land over the monster.
The only way for this to change is if they change their ball-tracking algorithm for that camera angle. As it stands, it pans to the height of the predetermined ball landing spot. Since everything over the green monster is at ground level, that is the camera height it will be at.

Hopefully the gameplay fielding camera will get a huge "authenticity" overhaul for 13 in general.

But see, the brightside is #2. I've used it sepcifically for that purpose.

I'd love to have scouting reports on the umps so we know his tendencies prior to the game. I'm too lazy to have write down umps names so I know how they will be in the next game, especially since there will be a ton of umps in the Show 12.

I'm with you on both points, but as someone that typically only gets to play games in the evening, this is something I have to deal with from time to time, as I don't always have time (or the energy) to get through an entire game. I'm not a Quickplay kind of guy; I like watching all of the cutscenes and whatnot.

Don't forget about the CPU pitcher. I had Justin Masterson on the ropes last night, but it was time for the Penguins game. I had I paused the game, played a little during intermissions, and finished it up after. Probably worked out to about 3.5 hours from start to finish, all so I could keep his confidence in the toilet.

Probably easier DVR'ing the Penguins game!

Damn!!! Why did I have to read the forums???? Argh, I never knew those things and I save a lot.

There is no way, I can't now not think of number 2 (sounds funny ) when playing. Must resist the urge. But the thought will always be there now.

Has the animation been worked on where the catcher lollygag's to the ball when hit in the air behind home plate only to speed up at the last second?

It doesn't look very good at all. Just something I noticed after playing MLB 11 recently.

I hate it even more when you can't seem to control the player after a certain while. So once they're in a certain position, you try to move them forward abit more and they don't move and it ends up being a dropped ball or your player awkwardly stretches out to make the catch.

With the new ball physics, hopefully it makes the players run more(or less) than they did in mlb 11.

Most of the time, my OF have to run so much to either catch or just get a ball that was hit. When I hit a ball, regardless if its a hit or an out, the AI barely has to run to get the ball.

Have any of the CD reps mentioned anything about new sliders?

Not new, as in ADDITIONAL sliders, but will MLB 11 slider adjustments closely mirror & effect game play in similar ways in MLB 12?

I know the default speed is the same as -3, anything else?

Thanks in advance (din't want to start a new thread)
