Just a note from something I found in 11. If you swap a player with a player in free agent 3 it will give them a random contract length.

I know that trick too, but it only works pre-franchise. I was talking about having that option instead of work around.

1. Has the menu system been improved?

2. Any enhancements to the player card to show more stats/splits and historical career data such as awards or career highs?

3. Any focus on adding more historical data period (previous season league leaders, past champions, past award winners)?

4. Will season stats still be wiped once the playoffs start? That is super annoying.

If they can show the season stats in ( ) and still have the post season stats featured I am good with that. I like seeing how a guy is playing in the post season. It is what matters most in those games. Knowing a guy is struggling or due for a hit or red hot.

WOW I thought this glitch had been fixed. This would have made things much easier these past 5 months....

I think this trick stopped working in 11, I only get 1 year deals for any player swapped

Can we also have a transactions filter ? To separately track trades, signings, and promotions

Is there going to be a way to have set lineups that don't go haywire after an injury?

An issue I notice in Franchise Mode just after the trade deadline. A lot of moves happened just after this happens and the system forces us to place a player on waivers instead of being able to trade outright. Once he clears we are given the option to accept whoever placed the claim or decline. I know this is an aspect of the trading deadline in MLB, but for instance the Jimenez trade to CLE adversely affected my season because he missed a scheduled start. What I do is release that player and place the claim by CLE, same with Alex White, Drew Pomeranz etc and have COL place the claim on them. This reflects an option from said players and doesnt reflect a trade.

That being said, can you all see if we will be able to make a trade logically like instead of a 1-1 trade, maybe a 3,4 for 1?

Are the coaching staff's representing there real names in franchise mode, for example-

Mariners manager is eric wedge (was still don wakamatsu in 11 even though he was fired in 2009_10 mid way) pitching coach is Carl Willis, hitting coach is chris chambliss, 1st base coach mike brumley, 3rd base coach jeff datz, bench coach robbie thompson, bullpen jamie navarro.

If they are fictitional names....are they changable via edit coach option?

Also..is there a kings court in safeco field's left field when king felix is pitching? (Would guess no)

Wedge signed October 18th, and was the coach all of 2011, Wak was Fired Auguest 9th, 2010, just saying, anyway, like everyone else, can we have a 2 for 1 or more trades, can we talk players out of retirement, can we extend contarcts mid season?

Will there be an option to look at any players baseball card and will it have all the same stats you would get on a real Tops baseball card? Like can you see the players stats for every team and year he played?

Will it be possible for them to add FIRST NAMES to the selectable list of Last Names for audio?

The commentators already refer to players by Last Name, even if you don't select a first name. That's great, except for many players their first name is the only thing available in the commentary so we never hear our name. The names are already in there, and the game is already programmed to use the list of last names for PBP.

So by adding first names to the list of last names, I could set my LAST name in the commentary to "Chris" -- which would be a nice change of pace from Vasgersian calling me "Fatty".
