Re: Anyone else getting a Vita to play this game on?
I went from 99/1 getting the game to 80/20 after the impressions...
I'll probably wait as long as I can to get the best deal. Not in a rush to get it.SOS Madden League (PS4) | League Archives

Re: Anyone else getting a Vita to play this game on?
I'm feeling some second thoughts after reading the initial impressions too. Always wondered why SCEA hasn't put out anymore videos or pictures of the Vita version and why there wasn't any demos of it at Best Buy.
Very strange.
I'm still going to get it at the midnight release.
I'm disappointed because the reason I got the Vita was because of The Show in the first place, but I know the Vita will come in handy on those summer nights when I'm not playing the PS3 at night and want to jump on the Vita.
One thing that Sony has always been lousy at is marketing. The PS3 and now the Vita. Tell me what it does, and what it does great, and what it has that others dont! I dont need some ADD commercial with flashy images that tells me no good actual info on it whatsoever!Comment

Re: Anyone else getting a Vita to play this game on?
1. There was an initial thread that showed some pics that looked really, really awful. The thread went the way of the pics, i.e. ugly so it was quickly closed. I think the graphics are good but have seen a very quick screenshot, or two, the looked like what was posted earlier.
2. Lack of presentation/quick play. I'm good with it but wish it wasn't this way.
My only real struggle at this point is trying to pitch without going cross-eyed. It is really hard to aim your pitch by holding the small analog knob AND hit the meter with any accuracy. I'm good with issuing the walks but fear there will be a lot of eye/neck strainComment

I never had trouble aiming with the PSP analog, but I did always think the pitching meter was hard to see.A screaming comes across the sky...Comment

Picked up my Vita version today... You guys have nothing to worry about. I just played for 4 hours straight and I'd say the game has lived up to my expectations. As long as you're not expecting PS3- you'll be very pleasantly surprised.Comment

Re: Anyone else getting a Vita to play this game on?
The impressions have me somewhat concerned. The lack of replays is odd as even the psp had them. My most pressing question is if that means there are no signature home run swings/trots. This has always been missing from the psp versions and it was something I was really looking forward to. Can anyone with the game check for me? Also, just the lack of replays altogether for homeruns is really odd. As a good who's owned every single The Show fo psp, I was hoping this would be the year us portable guys finally got the real deal.Comment

Re: Anyone else getting a Vita to play this game on?
I heard about this thread at gamefaqs. I created an account to post on this....lol.
I must be honest. I purchased a vita on launch day just for this game. I had 09 for the psp and wore that game out. I loved it. So naturally I thought this would be the game to top them all. To hear that a game that is 3 years older on an older system has more presentationi s absolutely absurd. I will in no way, shape or form support laziness on a developers game. Also to hear the excuse is that its meant to be just picked up and played on the go, not sat down and played for long periods of time. Hog wash. I am sorely disappointed at this.
I hope more people do not support this type of laziness.Comment
