Who's this too? The phillies or mets? I'm assuming the phillies, considering those are the playoff teams they've lost to in the last few years.

I know we've seemed to move on from this, but let me point out this is NOT where this belongs.

Guys, a little friendly banter is ok (see my comment about mets fans, which I posted just for the sake of getting Knight riled up).

But ALL CAPS = YELLING in internet etiquette ... which means that you're probably serious about whatever your saying. Around release time, we always end up with a lot of new users who don't understand that this is is not an "anything goes" website.

That's why I'm explaining this. Also, I have decided to never capitalize the word "mets" again. That way the the first letter in their name matches the size of their available money. Carry on. and mets fans, try not to let the Nationals finish ahead of you this year, please.

I first read it thinking it was the same person talking to himself. The identical avatar, oh-so-similar usernames, and string of consecutive posts just threw me for a loop. I had to look at the different OVR numbers to convince myself that it wasn't just a one-man conversation.

So after getting a chance to play MLB 12 at Best Buy this morning for around an hour, I have to say that SCEA has done an absolutely phenomenal job on this game! Everything about it just felt great. The ball physics, as expected, make the gameplay seem so much more fluid. New animations are awesome as well. I hit a little floater down the third base line that actually enabled me to get Ryan Howard from first to third. Very cool. The hit variety is top notch.

I'm digging the new scoreboard animations too. Hit a home run with Jim Thome and the scoreboard said "GOODBYE BASEBALL!"

I also have to agree with some of the previous posters in that the ball does in fact feel like it has some weight to it when you pitch. Hard to explain, but you'll be able to tell when you play the game.

Also, for classic pitching users, there is a little split second delay after you select your pitch. This is because it waits for the pitcher to shake yes to the catcher.

The aquarium backstop at Marlins Park is very very cool. The home run thing is ugly. We know this. Haha. Will definitely be nice to not have to play in Sun Life Stadium 18 times this year. Place was terrible.

Players faces have also improved as well. Guys like Jimmy Rollins and Vance Worley look spot on this year!

I didn't get a chance to hear the commentary though. The volume was low but also for some reason the commentary wasn't working even though all 3 guys volumes were turned up to maximum.

Once you go MLB 12 there is no going back. Haha. Don't even want to touch MLB 11 now. Kudos to SCEA once again on a job well done!

EDIT: Forgot to add this. When you play a night game with partly cloudy skies, it looks damn awesome! Absolutely gorgeous.

Oh, and the new default camera angle definitely makes it easier to read pitches. Very well done.

Thanks a lot man!! Yes, even a mets fan showing respect to a phillies fan. Especially considering you took some video of mets phills gamelay. I'm so glad they fixed Howard's stance. His was always way off. Looks practically the same as his one in real life. And, I do notice that the graphics look better than last year. Great stuff.

I have heard some "I think so's!", but I really would like complete and absolute confirmation from someone lucky enough to have played it at BEST BUY.

That Black stripe down the side, I really would like to know it is gone.

I'm currently at Best Buy here in San Diego decided to stop by and get a glimpse of the game while killing time waiting for my flight back home but its a no-go. Setup is no where to be found

Guess i will check out the BB back home tomorrow
