    Thanks again!
As far as I can tell, the only new one is Stride Difficulty for the Pure Analog and ZAB interfaces.

Thank You to everyone who has taken their time to answer our questions. I was wondering if the Hitter vs. Pitcher stats dynamically update throughout a season. For example, if Carlos Pena enters a game where Josh Beckett is pitching and in Pena's first AB it says, "Pena career 7-30 vs. Beckett" and then Pena goes 1-2 against Beckett, would it say the next time they faced each other, "Pena career vs. Beckett 8-32". It should update, I hope it does. Thanks

I know it's early, but do you see any obvious/necessary slider adjustments that need to be made? Sliders like pitch speed, wind, injuries etc are all user preference, but what about the other sliders?

What do the difficulty levels feel like? I played on HOF for both hitting and pitching (timing and meter) - does HOF seem like the same difficulty as last year?

        Thanks

Might need the usual Solid Hits tweak down a notch or two. Too early to tell for sure though and I haven't bumped it up to HOF yet either.

            How are homeruns this year?

Specifically on AS last year, the CPU seemed to score most of their runs via the long ball (on HOF, I actually didn't have this "problem") Granted, my mistakes generally end up as meatballs because I suck so much; but all in all, what are your impressions of HR's this year versus last year?

So far, in limited time, AS might be ok. Gave up a 3 run homerun but also a bases clearing 3 run double in the same game. Then shut a team out. And then, in a 5 inning game gave up 4 runs all of the non-long ball variety.

              Its early though.

Only if you take your PS3 and monitor outside at high noon.

Have you had any games with rain?

                Rain Delays?

Games shortened by rain (ending in the 7th as Final)?

Any rain outs in franchise leading to double headers? And if so, are the players impacted by having to play a two-fer (ex. fatigue or momentum)?

I know, a lot of questions. Feel free to address any or all. Thanks!
In game...I believe rain does have an impact on the ball...so probably fielding as well.

                No rain outs...double headers.

I like the game slowed down on the field....it's beautiful as is....I used to put fielding speed down. Maybe one notch on it this year.
Solid hits?....I don't think I want to mess with that. I like the way the ball travels this year...a LOT.

A few questions thanks to anyone for taking the time to answer.

How is the new pick off logic? I haven't read anything on this yet.

Does Great American BP have logo behind home plate, and standings in RF sundeck?

Any "WOW" moments with the new ball physics?

I think it's still a little too early to tell in gameplay. I haven't seen anything that I feel definitely needed adjusting, and has played lovely out of the box. I did adjust the sound sliders though, at default, everything is maxed out. I turned the commentators down about 1/3, and put Soup a couple notches lower because his voice is a little more alto, making him sound a little louder. I brought sound FX down a few ticks, crowd down about 2, and music and PA announcer down about 10 or so. I think it does a lot for the sound of the game this way too. I'll have to write down the exact number of ticks.

IMO, HOF difficulty has seemed about the same. Again, probably still too early to tell.

About to play a game as the Reds, I'll let you know about the logo and the standings if I can find it.

                      Edit: no standings, no logo

Sorry for asking again, but it may have gotten lost in the thread.

Has anyone simmed some franchise or RTTS seasons to see if the retirement logic has improved (i.e. does a 37 year old player who just had a 30+ HR season retire due to "age" still)?

Also how much have the offseason simming times improved, especially for RTTS?

I think most of us that have the game have been mainly playing the game so far, so that's probably why your question hasn't been answered yet. However, if I have some time over the weekend, ill try and sim through some Franchise seasons and see about the retired players as well as sim stats, any potential bugs and the new player generation system.

Don't get me wrong this is pretty much the only game I play and the best sports game I've ever had my hands on, but seriously?....no new animations for winning the world series? In RTTS, if you're a catcher do you have to call every pitch or can you just play the plays that involve the catcher?
