Don't know about franchise stuff, but for the regular exhibition rosters, wouldn't he just be sent to A ball or something?Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread
I have a question regarding RttS. Last year I abandoned this game and almost threw it away because of the awful managing. After a few years in RttS, catchers on all teams always batted 3rd and SP managing was insane. My 3-time Cy Young all-99-stats SP had the leash of a rookie who got called up from AA even with manager hook set to max leeway. If we were up by 2 in the 7th or later and I gave up so much as an infield single, I'd immediately get pulled. No mound visit, straight to bullpen (which then immediately blew the game). Any idea from anyone who's done RttS if these issues still exist?
Edit: Also, are the Red Sox the 1927 Yankees again in this year's game? That slight issue last year where in every game mode they were the best team with all their players having the best stats year after year after year got slightly annoying.Last edited by ChernoTheInferno; 03-05-2012, 12:40 AM.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread
There are only 3-4 rounds in the draft and it only consists of players that are replacing retired players per position. It's really not a hard concept to understand.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show - Q&A Thread
Ok so 2 Questions:
1. Does anyone know if you can go back to the classic or original or whatever you call it fielding, hitting, pitching and base running? I hate analog and what nothing to do with it.
2. I see some people talking about a 5g and 10g install to the hard drive. What does that mean? What is the difference between the 2?
ThanksComment

I'm fairly certain that once a player has MLB experience, he will always be available to appear in the game.Comment

1. Everything that was available in 11 is available in 12, plus the new modes. So yes, you can change everything back to classic.
2. The only difference is with the load times. 5GB load times are a bit longer than the 10GB download load times.PSN: sleepy1nsomniacComment

I don't have the game yet but I can answer this just based off what I've read in this thread

Is Jerome Williams the Angels 5th starter? If not, is he on the team at all?Comment
