    Your Welcome brotha

    Welcome to the "Classic" club.

Of course, when you walk 5 in a game you may not be toasting me

You were right! Loved the unpredictability and the game moves faster.

Also with high confidence you make much fewer location mistakes even when you don't hit the optimal point of pulse

i have 99 accuracy with my 4fb and still can get the circle small but it hardly ever seems to go where I want it

Re: Is anyone else loving Pulse Pitching?

I've played two full games with pulse and I've walked 26 batters. I appreciate the difficulty and like that pitching is really challenging, but it feels slightly overboard to me. Going to keep at it for a few more exhibitions before I start my franchise, but right now I have no feel for it and it feels like I'm pitching in Classic mode with the suck slider maxed out.

I honestly loved it at first, but after a long play period, I started to get headaches.

I'm starting to enjoy pulse pitching more now that I got the hang of it. I'm going to have mess with the cpu's sliders though. On all star they seem to be able to foul off way to many pitches. Its leading to many games where i have to pull the starter in the 4th because they are already over 100 pitches. Also last year I had great success setting guys up with the slider away but this year the CPU just isn't fooled at all by breaking balls breaking outside the zone.

On a side note. Has anyone actually caught a foul ball for an out by the CPU? After 30 games I still have not got the CPU to foul one for an out. Maybe its just me though. Maybe another reason for the high pitch counts

Yes, definitely. I've caught foul pop ups by home plate and foul balls near the stands by infielders and outfielders.

I can't for the life of me figure out why I'm not seeing pop foul outs. I'm sure it will work out in the end but would be nice to get some real soon just to lower my pitch counts down.

"Losing" the feel of the pulse sure is a helpless feeling. I mean that in a good way. Must be how a pitcher feels when he's melting down, like he has no chance of making his pitch.

That just seems odd you haven't seen any. I see a few a game from both sides.

I think I figured out why. My RTTS is still new and my control is still low. I think that is why. As my control goes up the accuracy in side the circle will go up.

Had my best pitching game using pulse pitching. 10Ks with Jake Arrieta. I think the best part was that I got 6 with the CPU looking. Lot were low strikes that were just below the line, so I may have to take back my impression thread post about the umps.
