What's the bug? : Commentary error - I was pitching in the middle innings, and behind in the count, Dave Campbell said that "It's not what you want in the very first inning" or something to that effect, when in fact it was the 4th or 5th inning. I know it's not very specific but that's the gist of it.

Game mode: Season

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?: I'm guessing in theory this could occur every game.

How often can the bug be reproduced?: It's happened 3 or 4 times in 16 games so far.

Rtts player is primary position first baseman for Minnesota twins. Outfield secondary. I am triple a starter. First season finished. Spring training is here. No games played yet. I select play next appearance. I am pinch hitter in bottom of the 7th. I don't remember how my ab went. Now it is top of the 8th and I am the catcher. Not firstbaseman or outfield. Teams are Tampa bay is away team. Twins home. Score is Tampa 5 twins 4.

I just play next appearance to start spring training.

Only tried it once.

What's the bug? Not sure if it's the game or my PS3 since I haven't seen anyone else with this bug but every game I play randomly the announcer sounds will cut out and there will be awful static every second or so. This has lasted several innings at a time or just for a few seconds.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, RTTS, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....) All game modes.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? No idea what causes it. I would think that maybe it is my PS3 because I haven't seen anyone else report it, but I haven't had trouble with any other games.

How often can the bug be reproduced? Every game

What's the bug: Stutter pitches. The ball stops on the way to the plate after being thrown by the pitcher. For me it happens when I'm pitching and when the CPU is pitching.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in?: I have played exhibition, franchise, and batting practice and have experienced the issue during all of these modes. I also have the Vita version of the game and I have not observed the issue on that platform.

How did it happen or what can you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it: Seems to happen at random and I can't seem to make it happen.

How often can the bug be reproduced?: For me it happens normally at least once a game but most of the time more than once. I have a 320GB PS3. My internet connection is hardwired to my router but it happens on and offline. I have a 55' Samsung LED 3D tv with the settings on my PS3 set to 720P and I have the GAME MODE on my television turned on. It seems to happen more frequently when I am using the classic catcher camera angle for pitching and batting.

In spring training season 2 of my Rtts player. I am first baseman. Every single game they put me in as pinch hitter in 7th inning. Every single game. Some games after my at bat it puts me in as catcher as right handed. My player is left handed. I can play the first at bat as catcher then once batter is done CPU will replace me. Or instead of catching the first hitter I can quit. It then replaces me then it quits to end of game. This all, all of it, happens every single game.

If you want I will record video of this on my phone to post. Send me a pm if this is requested of me.

Also play next appearance is not on the main screen in spring training. It should be. You now have to go to the schedule screen first. Click in a day then select play next appearance. You should not have to go to the schedule screen every single game day to select play next appearance. It should be on the main screen in your Rtts.

Incorrect "Last At-Bat"

I came to bat in the 4th inning and hit a Home Run, and my 3rd AB in the 7th I doubled to right. On my 4th at-bat the ticker at the bottom read "HR Last At-Bat"

This just happened to my 3B in DD - up to bat in 5th (beating the crap out of the Twins), in order he 2R HR'd, doubled and singled. Overlay said he homered last AB (wrong) - Vaz did mention however that he needed a triple for the cycle.

Exactly the same issue, but I've discovered, that this only happens when baserunning is set to auto.

It seems, that the CPU wants to take a one step lead with the baserunner on second, but the pitcher throws too soon, so the game compensates the baserunner and it's seems to be skipping 1 second, just exactly when your runner is supposed to be making one step forward.

With baserunning on assist, this does not happen, because you have to push the button to take that step forward.

Solution with auto baserunning: push L1 before the pitcher starts his throw to take that step ahead manually, instead letting the CPU do it in the background...

Seems like I have to learn using manual baserunning

I have seen this as well. Same issue..***nner on second "snaps" into his lead.

Whats the bug? Ball hit down the line hops over the wall at Comerica Park, but a ground rule double isn't called. Hitter rounds the bases for an inside the park homerun.

Whats the bug? After checking the Bullpen or after doing a mound visit, when returning to throw a pitch, the batter disappears and the pitcher just twitches while standing on the mound. The game is essentially frozen like this until you sub your pitcher out.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

The first time it happened, I did a mound visit and then checked the bullpen, I decided to leave my starter in for another inning but when I backed out of the pause menu, there was no batter and the pitcher was just standing on the mound, twitching. I could pause and go to the bullpen and stuff but whenever I went back to the game it was still frozen with the pitcher just twitching on the mound. The only way to get the game going again is to sub the pitcher out so I had to bring in a cold reliever just to keep the game going.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

I've seen it happen about 7 times in approx 20 games played, always in co-op franchise

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

I've had this happen when I'm playing Outfield and when playing Catcher.
When in the outfield, there have been a couple times where there will be a fly ball somewhere in the shallow outfield or just foul and the CPU will control the outfielder for the first couple seconds and by the time I get control of the player (my ring shows up under the player) the ball is already too close to falling for me to get to it.

As Catcher, on fly balls behind home plate I've had a couple instances where I didn't get control of the catcher fast enough to get under the ball and missed an easy pop up.

The most frustrating is on a bunt or short chopper just in front of the plate I don't get control of the catcher fast enough to get to the ball AND throw the runner out. There's usually a second delay before I take control of the catcher and then I can get to the ball but it's too late to throw the runner out. Should be a fairly routine play but because of the delay in taking control of the catcher, I miss the play.

How often can the bug be reproduced?

Fairly regularly. Basically the delay in taking control of my player costs me on any pop up that's less than routine or any bunt/chopper in front of the mound that is less than routine.

If it's a very routine play, I can usually get there despite the delay

I don't but I'll save a replay next time it happens, if the replay shows my icon popping up when I take control of the player

Whats the bug? My 1st baseman caught a pop up to end the inning. I go to the next inning and my 1st baseman is the leadoff batter and the line pops up under the score saying Scoring Decision E3. So I go and check the boxscore and sure enough my 1st baseman now has an E charged to him. Even though he caught the ball to end the inning.
