Whats the bug?
When I try to port my franchise to the cloud, then to the Vita, everything comes through fine. However, when I look at today's games, my game's opponent has their last final score in its linescore, and my team is blank. I click on the game and I get an error message and it freezes.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, RTTS, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....)

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? I have tried to upload it 2x with the same result on the download. I played another game, and then saved it to the cloud and the same thing happened with a different game.

I'm assuming you are a pitcher? Are you attempting to cover 1B in these situations? Not saying that he shouldn't cover his base, if he's that close, but just wondering if the game is expecting you to cover, if you are indeed a pitcher.

Yes I am the pitcher. And I do cover. The problem is, when the turn happens at 2B, whoever has the ball waits until I'm on first base to throw it, not trying to catch me in stride or anything. So 99% of the time it gets hit to 1B I don't get a double play.

RTTS Bug if your player is ever BENCHED in the majors he will never be able to compete for any awards, I was benched for 2 weeks in my 2nd year when I came back I have MORE at bat attempts than 2 of the top 5 people with .120 higher batting average but am not considerd for award voting becuase of the 2 week bench.

RTTS Bug game freezes is catcher drops a pitch out.

PLEASE test your games in the future before releasing them I spend more time resetting my PS3 than playing the actual game.

Can't go to the hot/cold zones screen during gameplay.

RTTS, dont play any other game modes so im no sure.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
During gameplay, i have only noticed it while batting, I pause or push up on the D-Pad to go to the batting lineup or the screen that shows what how I have batted against the pitcher in past games, then i exit out. Any time i do that it disables the screen that shows the hot/cold zones for the batter (the one that pops up after you hit the select button during gameplay) for the rest of the game. This is very annoying if the other team changes pitchers because i cannot see any info on him. If I do not go to the batting order screen it has no affect on the hot/cold zone screen so i have learned to do without.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Everytime i enter the batting order screen or push up on the D-Pad.

Whats the bug?
All of a sudden in RTTS when i am on base and i want to advance multiple bases without using the stick, the L2 d-pad isn't working anymore.

Sorry if I am wrong, but I thought it was L2 and the buttons(triangle, square, circle, and x)

Yeah, i reposted that it is the buttons and maybe i'm just getting old, but i would have bet on my kids that it was L2 and D-pad then changed to buttons.

Sorry didnt see your re-post, just tryin to help out. Maybe last years game was the D-Pad? Not sure I usually just use the analog stick.

Bug:

I downloaded the patch (4/28), went into my franchise with the Braves (was like 86-40 something). Lost a game vs the Phillies and it put me in last place at 86-170. Now the game freezes if I try to advance the day forward.

Whats the bug? Since patch 1.06, every throw from RF to 1B results in an automatic error. This is also without 1.16.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, RTTS, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....) Gameplay

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Since a throw from RF to 1B now always results in a yellow ring, it also pulls the 1B off the bag every time, which always results in an error. Carlos Beltran has 6 errors this year because of it.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Every throw from RF to 1B in which pre patch would have been an out.

Whats the bug? Whacked out stats since latest patch. RTTS piched 2/3 of an inning in relief. Stats indicate I threw 79 pitches and had nine strikeouts. Pitched 5 innings of relief and threw 0 pitches. Franchise- Box Score Pirates-Rockies 1-0 Rockies win actual score. Box score indicates Rockies won 4-0. Rockies Box Score correct. The three Pirate batters that walked had 15 at bats in the box score. Never had problems before either patch.

When simulating games, the CPU does not use the line-up that you've built for the team in the menu screens. The CPU re-orders and line-up and sub's in players that are not in the line-ups created by the user.

Okay, i'm not crazy. After the recent patch, it's back to using the L2 and d-pad to advance multiple bases in RTTS. Just finished playing a game so it's back to the way it was now.

Good job Sony, this is the best MLB :The Show game yet.

However, there are some small problems.

I play Franchise mode on a PS3, and I play all of my games in manager mode.

1. In between pitches there is a little menu that comes up with information on the hitter and the pitcher. In the hitter graphic there is a line for CON and a line for SPD. The SPD line is actually POW, and should be changed to reflect that.

2. When I am playing a game in manager mode there is someone else making "manager" decisions- stealing, hit and run, intentional walks- am I the manager or not? Obviously, I think I should be.

3. I have always had a problem with the player photos. In this year's game, Lastings Milledge does not have a photograph. What really bugs me is that after the first season the teams have traded tons of players and the caps just don't match the teams anymore. It's a mess. If you can't figure out how to fix that why don't you stop using player photos entirely and use the computer rendering of the player instead. The renderings are getting pretty good.

4. This one infuriates me. It happens quite often. I have a guy on 3rd, one out. He is a good runner, and he is aggressive. It's Johnny Damon. My guy lays down a beautiful bunt right down the first base line, and Johnny stands on 3rd like he's waiting for a taxi. The next guy strikes out. No run. I need to be able to tell my runner on third to score, without actually calling a squeeze play. Perhaps you could simply add a command for "safety squeeze".

5. On this same topic, as the manager I need much more control over my team. For instance, the pitching strategies are almost completely worthless. I would actually like to call the pitches like the catcher. But the high/away, low/inside commands are useless. most of the time my player doesn't even listen to me. When I go out to the mound I want to be able to tell my pitcher to pitch to contact or BE MORE EFFICIENT. Holy smokes, they get all nervous and start walking guys, but when I go out to the mound I dont have anything to say to him.

6. I think the catcher should have a skill that makes his pitch calls better or worse. Like a "knowledge" rating that tells you if he's going to call good pitches or hang his pitcher out to dry.

7. None of the things I can do as a GM seem to effect attendance. My promotions don't increase attendance. Cutting the price of food doesn't seem to help. Is this all just window dressing, or does it actually have an effect?

8. More business sim. I love being the GM.

9. I want to be able to fire my head coach in the first year. I play the game like I am a GM brought in to fix the worst team in the league. I need to fire the coaches.

10. I get no feedback from the game when I make a trade. Was it a good trade? Did it anger my players or my fans? I have no idea. Am I getting a rep as a trade-happy GM? Or am I the shrewdest guy in the game?

11. I would like to see a manager mode RTTS. I would start out managing a AA team and work my way up to the majors. I want to be able to get offers from other teams if I do well fixing my team. Instead of Franchise mode, it should be GM/Manager mode. I should be able to raise my rep and make better money if I fix my team.

12. There is no history of the franchise. No trophy room. Once I get a couple years out it is like those years never took place.

Popups are not properly counted toward fly balls in the pitcher/batter analysis screen.

Should not matter... any gameplay mode in which you can see the pitcher/batter analysis screen.


How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

I think popups to infielders are not counted as fly balls, whereas popups to outfielders are counted as fly balls. This is inconsistent. Since choppers seem to be always counted as ground balls, I would assume the desired behavior is popups to be always counted as fly balls.

This might be a hard bug to recreate, since intentionally popping up to outfield is rather difficult... I serendipitously found this out when Ryan Howard hit a towering fly ball (or popup, as the game identified it), and the analysis screen filter counted it as a fly ball. Usually, popup and fly ball filters do not identify the same pitch, so I figured that's how the game identified those (i.e., popups are not counted as fly balls).


How often can the bug be reproduced?

I have no idea, but all it takes is to reproduce a popup to an outfielder and see the analysis screen filters the ball in play.


Do you have video or pictures?

Unfortunately I didn't keep the analysis screen!! But I'm sure it happened because I was meticulously taking notes of FBs, LDs, and GBs in hope of computer ground ball to fly ball ratio.
