Whats the bug?

Some online league games get played and the result displays properly but once I log in later on, next day for example, that game no longer shows the result but instead shows as "Unplayed".


What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, RTTS, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....)

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?

I don't know how or why it's happening. Not sure how to recreate it other than continuing to play the scheduled games and logging back in the next day to see if the game still shows the result. I am the only league commissioner and I never reset any of the games except if it's a cpu vs cpu game and the status for some reason says "Unplayable".


How often can the bug be reproduced?

Not sure.

Some players seem to carry regular season stats over to post season when looking at Post season leaders.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, RTTS, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....)

I'm not sure if it is because a player from another team was added to playoff roster or what, but a couple players had regular season stats in playoffs. In league leaders there was a catcher with 5 hrs and 150ab on first day of postseason.

I have not played The Show in a week or so. When I logged on today and got in my RTTS, my Braves team had a 76-186 record. I figured it was a glitch and I just wouldn't make the playoffs. At the end of the season, a message came up and said I had made the playoffs due to the fact that I won "the first half, but lost the second half". I have no idea what that is and was wondering if others have experienced it.

Is your player on the AA Mississippi Braves? They're part of the Southern League which uses a split season format (the two half winners in each division play each other in the playoffs the first round, if the same team wins both halves then they get a first round bye). The Texas League also uses the split season format. The fudged up record is a glitch stemming from 1.16, but the two halfs are not.

Whats the bug? in RTTS as a SP the CPU 1B doesn't turn double plays correctly. Runner on first, ball hit to 1B, he throws to 2nd and just stands there, doesn't go back to cover first. So I'm stuck with only 1 out.

Stated above. Runner on first, grounder to first. 1B throws to 2nd and doesn't go back to cover first. The 1B can be standing literally right next to the bag and he won't go back to cover it. Yes you can recreate it.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Every time there's a runner on first in a double play situation.
...

Finally got around to getting some video of it. I have two seperate incidents, although it has happened way more than that. please find a fix for this

Whats the bug?on continued saved games total pitcher/pitch counts arent reflected accurately in post game pitcher analysis at the end of a game.

Whats the bug? I was up to bat in AAA and when the pitcher pitched, the ball came but he froze at his release, when the ball came off the bat the players just stood around still "waiting for the pitch" so I got an inside the park homerun.

Challenge of the Week (this week's only)

Bug
Derek Jeter is not at the plate for this week's Challenge of the Week, instead its Mariano Rivera. However, if you exit after completing the challenge, and then go in and try again, Jeter will correctly be there.

The following is copy/pasted from Tiny Glitch in This Week's Challenge of the Week

"I just fired it up and saw Rivera's face as well. But I noticed that once I got into the challenge, I was actually hitting with Rivera, as well. Wearing #42, not wearing a shin guard, somewhat different stance from Jeter. And I couldn't seem to hit for crap. I finished the challenge, hit exit, started the challenge again, and found that I now had Jeter.

Easy for me to replicate. If I enter the challenge from the main menu, I get Rivera at the plate until I exit back to the challenge screen, then go back in. Then I'll be hitting with Jeter. If I go all the way out to the main menu, I'll have to re-start with Rivera."

Note: I have also encountered this as have a couple others.

How often?
Every time you play this week's Challenge of the Week. Similar has also happened in previous CotW's. Again from the above thread:

"Two weeks ago, it was supposed to be Prince Fielder vs. Jonathan Broxton, but they used Tim Collins' face.

Last week, it was Hanley Ramirez vs. Johan Santana, but Hanley was wearing his away uniform in Marlins Stadium."

In addition, the Chacin/Posey matchup had Posey wearing his away uni at AT&T Park.

What's the Bug: Game just stole a 3 run homer away from me. Homerrun off the foul pole, called a HR by the announcers but treated like a foul ball by the game. The game went to that special HR camera behind the player showed the ball hit the foul pole the announcers called the game going to 5 to 0 but my player turned around and ran back to the batters box and next pitch grounded into a FC.

No access to box scores for postseason games.

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it?
In postseason, none of the box scores are accessible for any teams. All regular season box scores are still accessible from the schedule screen. I have downloaded all the patches up to 1.16, never had any problems up til now. Played previous season's postseason without a problem. Had many injured players during August/September, so entering postseason CPU had to make decisions as to who to keep on playoff roster and who to send down. I have multiple saves of the same franchise at different points of the season, but I've simmed several of them to the postseason and the result is the same: no access to postseason box scores. Tried playing games, simming games, sportscast managing games, sim to date, no box scores available.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
With this particular franchise, every time, for this season, at least. I could sim to the next postseason and see if it's still there.

Edit: Checked every franchise file I've got saved, and they all have this problem.

What's the Bug: Franchise modes freezes OFTEN after a game is complete. I exit the game to return to the main menu and the loading screen stays up forever. The PS3 is not frozen, the game is. I do not have any patch as I am not connected online with my PS3. I play with OSFM rosters.

Someone please tell me how I can avoid this issue. Franchise is like 80% of the game for me and it's making it unbearable to play. I'm tired of playing great games with great stats and it just freezing on me when I try to go back to the main menu after the game.

Occasionally when I try to throw to first using the infield I end up throwing to home plate for an error.

Pressed the usual circle button trying throw to first base but it instead goes to home plate.

I hit a single to RF. The RF makes an error fielding/throwing the ball. My at-bat was recorded as an E9 and it counted as an 0-1 in the boxscore.
