I'm a C (second coming of the real Pudge?), got drafted by the Dodgers (Piazza?) I usually set the settings so I just see the last pitch of every AB. Since I'm a C I have to call the game. There are times I just want to skip to my AB, esp when the AA Pitchers can't hit the target. Anyway to skip ahead? I've tried to change positions to 1B (Konerko?), but my manager says the organization needs me at C.

Does anyone know how to set it so I don't have to call every pitch?

I'm am loving this mode this year. Drafted by the Twins and was traded to the Orioles in mid-April. As of June 4th I am hitting .313 with 12HR and 52RBI. This is on All-Star zone hitting. I'm still in Double A though. I would think I should get the call up soon.

haha i got 99 hitting power vs righties and 95 contact vs righties i have 97 plate vision, bout 60 plate vision..


but OH MY GOD, im so aggressive haha. i struck out 150 times in triple A.

I finally got to the majors, starting 1b on the Red Sox. First month of the season 10 homeruns 20 rbi's, second in the A.L. hitting .280. 12k's

The second month of the season so far OMFG...!!!! the last 10 games, I batted .096 struck out 33 times. 2 hits the whole month. These major league pitchers are shutting me down. I'm scared ill be sent down.

The sliders are getting me like nuts and also the changeups.

One question, i'm using timing hitting on all-star, how come the pci is so ********? I'll have a 3-0 count and a fast ball right down the middle with perfect timing and my pci is like aiming above the strike zone half way out of it or half out of it below... whats up with that?

So, on average how long is it taking to make the majors this year? I haven't really played RttS all that much yet.

Depends on how ur doing and if there are any openings due to injuries/trades, etc. at the levels above u

In a 3 day span I was sent down to Double A, called right back up to Triple A, then traded. LOL!

Does no one else put injuries on manual? I figure if I get blocked by someone like Todd Helton, someone at the end of their career, I can place him on the DL to free up ABs. That way, it becomes slightly easier to slide into a starting role and prove myself on a more consistent basis.

I don't know if it's going to be the same for everyone, but a frequent problem I'm seeing is middle infielders getting blocked once they reach the bigs. Is anyone that is locked to one position (1B or LF only) experiencing the same thing? I know in previous years whenever I did a SS, 2B, or 3B, I always made myself available to play the rest of the IF. Maybe that's the problem -- the AI sees you as a super sub like Michael Young?

Created an Ian Kinsler type-2B, drafted by the Tigers, and a month into the season I am struggling big time. Have a .200 average bc it seems like every time I rip one, it's right at the 2B, SS, or 3B. Even when I get a little pop on the ball, it just dies at the warning track. It's a good thing my BA w/RISP is pretty good and I play decent defense or I'd be warming the bench in AA. Although, the last couple of games the balls have been avoiding gloves and falling for me, so hopefully the horrible slump is over, right?

lmao, nice. So you play with a 100% healthy Chase Utley, Grady Sizemore, Jorge de la Rosa, etc. in your franchises? Don't play God. Or do you turn on manual injuries and sim a realistic season? Hi, God.

Think of it less like playing God and more like playing. Where's the fun when you're hitting .408 at the major league level and you're continuing to be the understudy to some light hitting shortstop? In real life, the Omar Vizquels get pushed out by the Elvis Andrus of the baseball world, whether the developers get that or not. Top prospects don't ride the pine for as long as they do in this game.

So my AA CF breaks his forearm sliding into 3rd on a triple. Out for 2 months. When I come off the 60 day DL I'm immediately called up to AAA. ???

He was hitting .317 in 202 AB with 15 dbls, 4 trpls, 0 hr and 22 RBI. Very odd.

I purchased the game, thus when I put it in my PS3 i am it's god. I am the only god it knows and I shall control it the way I want to.

But that being said, I dont mess with injuries.

YESS!! after being optioned to triple A from the redsox,i get called up for the last month or so of the season and got hoooooootttttt. was 3rd in the roty voting and ended up winning. every at bat is a freakin battle.

my batting avg was .222, got that up to .274

hr: 23

rbi: 55

i became so much more patient.. the strikeouts went down and the homeruns went up. im in year 2016.
was offered a 6 year 60 mill contract offer

Well I typed up a very long rant about how BAD RTTS is this year, and this crappy site decided to delete it all because it claims I wasn't logged in, even though I had to log in to post...

As if i wasn't frustrated enough. basically in a nut shell, this game mode is broken beyond belief. DO NOT MAKE A SHORTSTOP you will NEVER be an everyday player.
