Very frustrating....have resorted to simming all home games.
Yeah, this is pretty rough. You might try experimenting with other cameras.

My 1B was drafted by the Diamondbacks, played for their AA, was then traded to the Brewers and played for their AA/AAA teams. I was once again traded, this time to the Padres and now I'm in the MLB.

I was playing the Angels in Spring Training and saw they had Jose Bautista batting after Pujols. Scary.

Ahh the only reason i own a PS3 MLB The Show!

I decided to do a RTTS until the rosters are done.
I made Myself a Short stop who can play the infield. He's a solid contact hitter with average speed and fielding.
I started off Drafted by the A's which isn't that bad as I'll get called up faster.
Started off in AA and hit .281 with 21RBI's, but 0 homeruns. i was injured inbetween so i missed about 30 games.
Then I was called up to AAA and hit .323 with 35 RBI's.My team missed the playoffs by one game, and i didn't get called up!
          Next season i resigned with the A's as a AAA starter, but wasn't invited to spring training.After 47 games i'm hitting .332 ,38 RBI's and 6 HR.
Hopefully i'll get called up soon!

Reason I play RTTS! Through 6 games the Flying Squirrels are 6-0. We played the Bowie BaySox on the road and it was 0-0 in the top of the 9th inning. I was the first person up for an AB and crushed a 0-1 curve over the fence. Just seeing my player flick that bat after the longball gave me a sense of accomplishment....

....then they gave up a run in the bottom of the 9th. But I got to bat again in the 10th and added an insurance run. We ended up winning 3-1 after 10 and got our sixth win straight.

            Scorching AA through 6 games. 10/19, .526, 1 HR, 6 RBI.

finished season 1 with a texas league championship. was resigned in the offseason with the padres and finally moved up to AAA. Starting CFer and having a good start after a week into season 2. pitchers are noticeably tougher but still dont throw enough out of the zone to get walks.

It wouldn't hurt to add another pitch. Having a nice selection is always helpful. I personally wouldn't add another pitch until I feel that my 3 main pitches are good enough (usually when vel, ctrl, and break are 60+). Keep in mind that if you add another pitch your overall will go down at first (pitch ratings start out at around 30 which lowers your overall rating). so in short add another pitch if you feel like your guy is ready for it.

I'd say go with a change/circle change, a sinker or some other 'junk' pitch. you already have two fastballs and a slider.

If you're going to add a pitch then probably a changeup, maybe a sinker or a curve.
I'd go with the changeup though because you already have two fastballs and a breaking pitch.

in regular games (not rtts lol) it shows up at the top when your next batter comes up, but since you have to skip time in RTTS it gets messed up somehow. i wish this would be fixed as well.

which brings me to this: you can't see what happened on the last pitch of an AB in RTTS. for example you hit a groundball and get thrown out at first. big deal. SO, at your next AB you can't see what you did wrong. you can see where the pitch was by holding R2 but that's it. you can't see the contact, timing, or your stride like you always do. not really a big deal but it's annoying not being able to know where my zone was or anything.

As far as I know it will only show you the distance in the replay of the home run directly following the play. If you don't skip the rounding of the bases, once you're walking back to the dugout they'll show a replay of the home run with the distance in the top corner.
