Wow that doesn't make any sense.

Maybe its because I'm playing on vita?
Sounds like you need to raise the difficulty level. I'd be bored with those numbers. If your're getting those numbers in the minors.....Imagine what your stats would be if your player gets maxed out in attributes.

With the OSFM rosters out, I just started a switch hitting power build 3B. Drafted by the Orioles, bleh. So far just 1 for 10, but the one I did hit went 475 to the right field power alley. God I love this game.

Re: MLB 12 The Show: Road to the Show Thread

Started me a third baseman with the outfield as his back up positions. I get drafted by the Giants and end up in Triple A by the end of the first season.

They give me a 1 year contract for Triple A starter so I took it. By late July, I got traded to the St. Louis Cardinals. I get called up in August and in my first start, I go 2 for 2 against Chad Billingsley and the Dodgers. Then trying to tag up to third on a flyball out I end up tearing a Mcl in my knee I think it was.. Can't remember correctly but I'm out all the way until the playoffs. I get only two at bats the whole thing and went 0'fer but we won the World Series.

Well the next year which is 2014, The Cardinals offer me a 1 year Mlb starter contract for 400k. It's weird cause they still have Freese but I ain't complaining.

In the opening day game at home against the Phillies, I hit a solo blast against Cliff Lee for my first career homerun.

Just played a game at Minute Maid and in my first two at bats I cranked two fastballs over the short left field.

Seeing as I like to pull the fastball, If I get far enough to get contract offerings or no contract offers, I'll try to walk on with Houston. Haha Poor Bud Norris. He was yanked before the end of the 7th and the only runs we had was my homeruns, It was 2 to 0. I only had the 2 at bats against him.

Really starting to get into it more now that I'm at the Mlb level.

My pitcher is rotting in AAA right now. Towards the end of my second season now. I'm a B overall and am absolutely dominating AAA (1.1 ERA, 170 SOs), yet the Mets refuse to call me up. Three of the starters in their rotation right now have ERAs over 4 (one of them has an ERA over 5!) yet I'm still completely stuck. Worst of all, I haven't been accomplishing every single goal lately because a lot of them are hitting goals. This makes absolutely no sense to me. I haven't had a pitching goal in about 3 advancement periods.

After OSFM hit I started my two Rtts careers last night.

One as a SS for the Twins farm system, currently in AA with current stats at 14AB, 7H, .500AVG, 3 RBI's and 2 SO's.

I must say I suck at fielding though...my reflections are clearly not up to scratch for a SS.

My other player is a SP for the Dodgers. Only did the training with him so far and will be giving him his first start tonight.

I do play on heavily modified sliders that makes it very easy...not because I can't play the game on a harder difficulty (when I play exhibition or franchise I play on much more difficult settings), but because I don't have years of time to play the game...and really don't want to spend hours upon hours grinding through the minors and by the time I reach the Show it's 2016 and I'm already tired of the game....what's the point then?

I always enjoy tearing everything up and entering my rookie season as a legend and leaving it as the GOAT.

Each to his own I guess...

I started one yesterday and made one inspired by my 1-year old son. He's a big bruiser, so I made him a one-dimensional slugging third basement with a ping pong paddle for a glove. I'm in AA with the Reds and he's just starting to mash. My goal is to take every at bat in his career (outside of spring training after this first year) and last night I did about a month in 2 hours.

Made myself a SS. Went into a horrible slump and was at one time hitting .188, now batting .264 with 4 HRs & 37 RBIs. Got traded for Orlando Hudson when I was on the Cardinals. Now with the Padres in Late August.

Didn't get too much time in last night to play, but managed to squeak out 12 at bats for my third baseman. I did much better hitting, raised my average to .273 or so. Hopefully I will get a decent amount of time on Friday and potentially on Easter to play more. Coaching is just swallowing all of my time right now. I need a VITA so I can play on our bus rides, lol.

I'm in my third major league season as a CF (second full season). I won Rookie of the Year with the Dodgers, and then got traded to the Orioles. I won the MVP and got a triple crown the next year. I tried to get traded all year, but it didn't happen. We were already eliminated by the All-Star break.

I can't wait for free agency.
