Someone more useful than that lol. How bout Mayberry Jr.?

I would be willing to deal him. Maybe even Laynce Nix... I doubt he's more valuable though. I may be willing to part with Pierre, but I think Mayberry would be the best guy to deal

I need a middle of rotation SP that's right handed for my Dodgers to replace Harang. Someone cheap, as I have Eovaldi and RDLR in my minor league system, but they aren't ready yet.

      Go.

          Agreed.

Does anyone really care where I sent this from?
I realize this probably won't do it, but how about Matusz, Tillman, and Britton for Bumgarner and Ryan Jones(a 14th round pick this year, but I love him b/c he is out of MSU!)

Cheap vets - Aaron Cook or Livan Hernandez. Freddy Garcia could probably be had real cheap too but I think his salary is 2 million.

I'm just trying. I mean I don't think I gave up as much as the Bundys and Schoop for him before in my padres franchise, and you guys helped me make that trade. Just trying for a fair trade. It is my franchise too, so it doesn't have to be realistic, it just has to be fair.

all 3 are awful and definetly not middle-of-the-rotation caliber

Well Bundys plus Schoop would be the package but still I don't see this happening

Yeah, this is the minimum you'd have to give up to be honest.

Totally agree. He needed a replacement for Harang who I figured were injured and out for a month or so making the ones I proposed cheap rental fillers.

If we're talking middle of the rotation guys for a whole season...Jhoulys Chacin, Brandon McCarthy, Matt Harrison (not a righty though), Ervin Santana, Joe Blanton, Edwin Jackson, Shaun Marcum, Homer Bailey...those are some names off the top of my head that could go in as a number 3 or 4

Oh and I'd totally target Luke Hochevar - love pitching with him. Scott Baker could be another option.

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

Once again looking to deal David Price (7-3, 3.27 era, 67 K, 36 BB) in my Royals Franchise. I am looking at:

                                Rickey Romero: 7-5, 2.79 ERA, 94 K, 38 BB
                                Gio Gonzalez: 4-2, 5.01, 46 K, 18BB

The Phillies offered me Roy Halladay, that is pretty unrealistic and I honestly I don't have the payroll space for 42 million over the next two years.

The bottom line I guess is that I want a semi-young lefthander with a few years on their contract at a semi cheap cost (under 10 M).

Which one do I pursue and how much in prospects are they going to cost me?

I've heard that sound 3 times... once was Babe Ruth, the second was Josh Gibson, and the third was Bo Jackson- Buck O'Neil
