Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Just a question on a fair deal here, I'm currently using Boston and I'm currently in the 2012 ALDS but am already looking ahead. Mike Aviles Did not play up to my expectations at SS this season, mainly his fielding as far as range, errors and etc, as a true sox fan I have wanted a real SS for years now, not just some new guy dropped in there each year basically since Nomar left. So I guess what I'm getting at is who in the league is realistic to go after and who will it cost me, I haven't made any trades season 1 so I have everyone. Any input is appreciated, thanks in advanceMLB: Boston Red Sox

Belt shouldn't be an A, he's proven he's no where near close to being able to effectively hit major league pitching going on 2 years now. Completely lost at the plate. He dropped completely out of the top 100, and is basically a liability in the majors right now. He's flirting with Pedro Alvarez territory.Last edited by hawks223; 06-18-2012, 11:02 AM.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Hey guys, doing my Red Sox Franchise, wonderin what you thought of this trade.
Jon Lester 28 y/o B pot. SP
Anthony Ranaudo 22 y/o B pot. SP
Ryan Kalish 23 y/o B pot. CF
for
Jason Bay 32 y/o B pot. LF
Zack Wheeler 21 y/o A pot. SP
I struggle pitching with Lester, so I feel like hes ready to go. I need a 3rd outfielder, since Cody Ross tore his Achilles, and I think Jason Bay would work fine, and the Mets would be happy to give up his large contract. Kalish has been playing very well splitting time between AAA and MLB.
Zack Wheeler and Matt Barnes would be my future 1 and 2 starters, one Beckett leaves, and more room is cleared in the rotation.
Any help would be apreciated!

Yeah I think that sounds fair but I'd swap Raunado or Kalish for a C prospect instead. You could probably fetch a better prospect in exchange for Lester but I understand you need to fill a need with BayFormer modder of "Ultimate Rosters" for MVP Baseball 2005.

Hanley is actuall who I would love to get, love his power and all around play plus I know he wasn't too happy about moving to 3rd this year. What do you think it would take to pull him away from Miami?MLB: Boston Red Sox

I'm the royals, and in real life they would be hesitant to trade their pitching, but I it seems like Jerrod Dyson could be a fit. He's fast. And we have tons of young A Pitchers!Proud fan of:

I'll have to look into that, however, I don't see the Royals trading away a top pitching prospect if they're rebuilding. I'll have to check were they are in the standings."I'm just gonna go out there, and call the Yankees my daddy" - Pedro Martinez

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Thanks. Suarez is a younger B potential shortstop. Giants need help at 2B and OF which is why I was thinking Raburn and Dirks (I think they're both B potential as well, although Raburn is 30 or so).Comment
