a) why would the Jays trade Rasmus 30-something games into a season?
b)the Yankees would be the last destination the Yanks would ship Rasmus off too if he would be traded unless they were severely overwhelmed
c)Bichette is nowhere near ready for the majors and the Jays are capable of winning right away so who'd man 3rd in the meantime for Toronto? (and dont say EE)
d) ur not gunna move Lawrie to 2B to accomodate a rookie...this isnt Jeter and A-Rod or Reyes and Hanley

my response was totally directed at you..it was just a combination of everybody's....and i dont see a match with the Yankees cause they don't have that top-notch major-league ready 2B prospect

A Jays trade with the Yankees including Rasmus would probably need Toronto to have another deal brewing by the side. Yankees could ship Gary Sanchez across the border as a part of the deal but with Arencibia and D'Arnaud locked in, Sanchez would be bait for another trade. For some added realism, I'd guess the Yanks would want to part with Banuelos as they've seemed to have soured on him a bit.

my last two points were...my first one was at the poster...either way, unless the poster somehow acquires a top 2B prospect, i wouldn't do it if i were the Jays

defensively, yes....i still think he has to polish his offense a bit more but it wuddnt surprise me if he made a cameo in the majors later on this year

Oh, the only time I've seen him playing was about two weeks ago at the AAA Allstar game on TV. I usually keep up with international league players.
