Erlin's stuff is the type of pitcher I do really well with in this game but that is too expensive. I need to add quality pitching not give it away. Getting Stauffer though would allow them to move Erlin up, right? Their rotation has one weak link so far--Volquez. Luebke, Staufer, et al are all doing well and they are 2GB.

Stauffer, Volquez, Cashner, Luebke, & Richard. They also have Erlin, Kelly, and Weiland doing good to decent in AAA but SP depth--well, you are a Blue Jays fan so you know...
I could realistically get Wandy or sign Ben Sheets but I have no room with Floyd & Humber out of options and Floyd SHOULD theoretically do better than Sheets (ratings in game). I'm kind of stuck which must be why Kenny Williams acquired that horriple Liriano fool. Humber has been admirable considering but having Danks, Humber, & Stults as 3-4-5 isn't going to get me deep into the post season. Hell, I might pull an irl CWS and fall apart in September with that crew! Stults somehow had options so I swapped him with Simon Castro to gve him a shot. He seems to have good command of his pitches so might do okay. I'm not impressed with my virtual Quintana and Santiago so they aren't options right now.Last edited by rjackson; 11-16-2012, 10:33 PM.Comment

I'm like 80% sure Bastian has said they could move him or Asdrubal to restock
If he isn't even performing then it's a no brainer and obviously Lubke ain't going anywhere."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

i would think Cleveland wudd have to be presented with an overwhelming offer to let Kipnis go.....didnt recall rjackson saying Richard stunk it up....if so, then yeahSteelers | Seminoles | A's | Rockets | Avalanche | Wildcats, Hoosiers | LiverpoolComment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Richard is a little below a 4 ERA. Only one of them over 4 is Volquez at 5. I'm just going to suck it up for a little while and sign Sheets and/or get Wandy if there is no changes.
NYM needs a reliever, I'm not happ with the trade offers they've made and they are in contention somehow. Any ideas--it's aother team but I'm just trying to keep it realistic and not the Wheeler for Belisle BS they were trying.Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Volquez would be dealt easily in that case.
Cheap relievers... Blue Jays could conceivably part with one of Brett Cecil/Esmil Rogers/Jeremy Jeffress... Steve Delabar is also a good option but I don't think we'd trade him."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Would Freddy Galvis from the Phillies be a reasonable trade target for the Blue Jays?Comment
