Or...literally give up the farm system??? Like, Las Vegas maybe?

Seriously though, I think that even the numskulls running the Rockies would be hard pressed to say no to d'Arnaud, Sierra, Hech, and maybe Norris or another SP that caliber. That is what it would take, though, and those fools would probably still say no.

It would probably take more than an A+C to pry Tulo away.
Rosario can hit but his defensive skills behind the plate are lol funny if you aren't a Rockies fan ( if you are a Rockies fan). He's bad at 1B defensively, too, but I bet when Helton is gone for good he goes there. If d'Arnaud were included, they would move his butt to 1B right now, guaranteed. Hech would probably have to be included too, and then two pitchers. How's that?

Agreeing on his defense... it was ugly, but he did improve quite a bit towards the end of the year. Still awful, but a lot better than where he was to begin the year. That also has a lot to do with being so young and coming straight from AA.

His bat speaks though, so it reminds me of Bryce Harper or Wil Myers where they wanted offense now instead of waiting to groom them for a difficult defensive position. It makes me wonder, though...Buster Posey anyone? If their O was aready that good, wouldn't the D be easier to learn since that is where the focus would be?

His bat was very impressive. He could end up being a 5 or 6 hitter for the Rox. I think with another off-season under his belt his D should improve. The horrible pitching staff didn't make him look any better. I think we lead the league in passed balls and wild pitches... by a large margin. Posey is just a freak... who ever decided to draft that guy should go in the HOF haha. Posey is a class act too.

              Trading:
              SP Dylan Bundy (A Potential)
              1B Yonder Alonso (A Potential)
              SS Nick Punto (B Potential)

              Recieving:
              1B Joey Votto (A Potential)
Lol @ Nick Punto getting thrown in there... Replace Punto with another A prospect and you're fine.

They traded Dexter Fowler, Colvin, and David Dahl, they're not too set on OF's. As rjackson has said, d'Arnaud could push Rosario to 1B, as Helton's retired (I'm not in my first year).

              That's two A's, a B, and a C.

              An A, a B, and a C?

Keep in mind that you are going to have to overpay to get Colorado to let go of Tulo. I can't see them letting Tulo go without getting at least 2 A's in return.

                d'Arnaud
                Sierra
                Hech
                Norris

rjackson's trade seems pretty good to me. Like he said... the Rockies still probably wouldn't do it, but if you insist on getting Tulo I think you'll have to give up at least that much.

EDIT: This is one I came up with.

                Colorado receives:
                d'Arnaud
                Hech
                Sam Dyson
                Marcus Stroman

                Jays receive:
                Tulo

Yea I could switch out Punto for Brandon Belt, the computer (A's) is just really thin at SS. For example Punto would become their starter at SS if I made that trade. I guess it would take my 3 top prospects to land Votto though.

If you want, keep Punto in, but he holds no value.

Mid-high-ish B, but the dude's so much more valuable than that and I'd really love to keep him.

Right, but I figured maybe they could use Alonso at DH and Belt at 1B.

Here are the other players the computer is interested in...
-Todd Frazier 3B (B Potential), but they already have Longoria
                                -Blake DeWitt 2B (C Potential)

I tried offering them Brandon Crawford SS (B Potential) but they had no interest in that, despite Crawford being rated better than Punto lol. Weird.
